Back at you: if you can wait two years to buy this, then maybe you don't really need it to buy it at all? So save yourself not merely $71, but $171! That makes at least as much sense as the advice you gave to me. Only on SD would someone be lame enough to mock another because they (gasp!) are actually buying something they need! lulz
Are you so insecure? Do you feel mocked?
Like I said in the first post if you cared to read the full paragraph before commenting... I have Asus RT-N16's, the cost of $170 to upgrade to this model would not be a slickdeal. Many of us have Asus RT-N16's and they went down to $50 AR in a relatively short time.
Thanks OP! Repped. Was just about to place an order from an amazon 3rd party seller for exact same price, but feel more comfortable buying from newegg. It's definitely a deal, but I will disagree with some here that the best price is usually $199, I've been watching this for quite a while and it hasn't been that hard to find a $18x price (including shipping). I actually place and order for $161 last week at amazon, but it got cancelled on me.
Do whatever you like, but some of us can't wait 1-2 years til it hits your (totally arbitrary?) target. And when it does, there will probably be anew king of the networking hill anyway, and you'll just be back to square one....
