come on guys common sense.. the unit can be plugged into your car battery....you then use extension cords to reach to your appliance. In an extended power outage when the unit beeps that the battery is getting low..you start up your car and run it for say 20 mins..then shut it off.
for reference my $2500 LG stainless fridge/deep freeze uses 850 watts. My older garage fridge thats like 15 years old only draws 589w. to figure out the watts as mentioned just need the amps and volts...and you can plug them into the equation or google a calculator. Also important is to note that over 90% of your appliances will not use the wattage it states..that is peak watts. You can buy things to plug into your socket that you then plug the appliance into to see what kind of power it is drawing on a regular basis.
if you cannot connect to a car, say you dont have an attached garage, then i would purchase a spare battery for the unit..and a universal battery charger. Then when your first one gets low you can pop in the 2nd then use the unit itself to recharge. most trickle chargers do not draw alot of wattage..the 2 I own at least. this is all speaking from an emergency power outage type of situation. some have also straight up replaced the battery that comes in it with a deep cycle marine battery which will prolong life..especially if you regularly use this..say in your truck on the jobsite or camping.

Kmart has an additional 10% off on this right now, making it $40.49 (it was $44.99) before any codes are applied, so now you can add $9.51 in automotive filler items and then use the $10 off code KAUTO10, or KSYW25 to earn $25 back in SYWR points.
