My Costco (Morena Blvd. in San Diego) has had this for $42.99 for the past four years. Used it for around two years, really liked the taste but went back to ON, otherwise its a good product. TU though Smilie

ya! Awe. That's sad. That was my reaction when the ON GS 10lb. bags went up around $10-12. Maybe I was being cheap but cost is cost, so I switched to this. Wink

I ran out and got a bag just a week ago, but had to buy another when I saw this price of course. I go through it in about a month or so I believe at 2 scoops a day. This is tasty stuff IMO but I have never tried Muscle milk. That may have been on sale also but didn't even look since that product doesn't interest me looking for just protein. For the price and quality, this is hard to beat.

Thanks for the rep! This is my first "big" find. Seems many other protein deals are FP popular lately- but the ones I've seen I'm always too late to beat the shopping pros. Wink

twinlab deal is much better, 10lb for 50 some bucks. I used to buy this when costco had it for $36. Tastes fine, cholesterol is pretty high though. Glad to see protein prices coming down

Pretty good deal. Just ordered 20lbs of the Twin Labs protein off of BB from the FP deal though. I usually drink this stuff. TU and Repped.

That is a better price, but look at all the ingredients of filler. Compare the short list of ingredients of this to the Twinlab. I'm no scientist, but there are things that don't sound good in there. WTF = Fructooligosaccharides. I read through some of that thread and many agree.

Cytosport (27g protein per serving):
Whey Protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, natural and artificial flavor, salt, acesulfame potassium, Guar Gum, Sucralose, Soy Lecithin

Ingredients in Twinlab (21g protein per serving):
Whey Protein Concentrate, Milk Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Isolate, Glycine, Natural And Artificial Flavors, Non-Dairy Creamer, (Sunflower Oil, Corn Syrup Solids, Sodium Caseinate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Mono And Diglycerides, Soy Lecithin, And Silicon Dioxide), Xanthan Gum, Guar Gum, Papain, Bromelain, Fructooligosaccharides, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Soy Lecithin.

Yea I know. I missed a couple of FP deals on the whey isolates. Oh wells, I'm sure this is no worse than whatever they put in hamburgers nowadays. Wink

what do u normally look for when u buy Whey protein? How many gram of protein per scoop? So high protein (how high?), low cholesterol (how low?), low sugar = GOOD?

Cost = $7.16 per pound, meanwhile whey protein can be obtained at Walmart with coupon for $6.49 per pound.

I saw this at my local Costco... decided to go with the other one they carry. Forget the name right now, but its a black container with red trim. I believe the protein per serving for that one is 30g vs 27 for the Cyto and the Cholesterol is 3% (other) vs 23% (Cyto).. decided I could get more protein per serving and less cholesterol for a few dollars more.

If anyone can double check the numbers, I remember reading the label and I think that's what it said.

Hope that helps.
