I have been looking, for a couple of weeks, for memory to upgrade a new Mac Mini. Apparently the price increased a lot this year. But at Staples it became available again.

Price comparison:

Will faster memory work in a slower system?
My Mid 2011 MBP is rated for 1333mhz, but these are cheaper than the 1333 sticks I'm seeing online

I believe that it will. It'll just run at a slower speed.

Anyone have experience with this in an iMac? Specifically a mid 2010 model.

^ well, your imac probably won't use the full speed. The 2010 iMac use 1333MHz RAM. The 2012 iMac uses 1600MHz RAM

Thanks to the OP, I just bought 2 of these for my 2012 iMac. Couple that with a $30 off coupon and this was a great deal. Now, I have 8GB RAM to sell

ok thanks. Just was worried about crashing cause Apple says max is 16GB (prob 4 x 4GB), yet some articles online say 32GB is possible. Currently have 12GB of 2GB and 4GB modules.

Also 10 off 100 coupon: 43994 (for someone who needs it)

A few months ago..... so you mean Black Friday? That's the only time I can think of when memory prices drop drastically.

This is Staples' regular price. It's okay, but I would say that a $30 off $90 coupon is necessary to make it a slick deal.
