I have been lifting for 3 years consistently and have gotten down to around 7-8% body fat on two separate occasions now. I really don't like relying on these products but in the past I have used oxy elite pro, animal cuts, and super hd. they are expensive, you can never drink alcohol on them, and they string you out. that being said they will help you if your diet and exercise are in check and you will most likely see immediate results. I am in the process of getting lean for the summer and am probably at or close to 10% body fat. I am going to wait till I am a bit leaner through running and lifting etc and use a small amount of the super hd caps I have left to push me over the edge into the deep single digits. I think its the best strategy to minimize the use of the tablets. good luck to all of you out there trying to loose the weight

There's no such thing as a fat burner. Stop buying these placebo pills people.

If you want to lose weight, eat less calories. It's all about caloric deficit. Find out your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), subtract 500 calories (500x7=3500 calories/week=1 pound weight loss/week), measure all of your food, and track it all at myfitnesspal.com or a similar site.

Stop buying into supplement company hype! You can eat whatever you want (with moderation) if it fits your macros. Google that phrase "If it fits your macros" and learn how to truly lose weight and keep it off. All of you people on crash diets and taking fat burners are chumps. You need to change your lifestyle. You can still eat ben & jerrys many times a week and lose weight. You just have to eat it in moderation and fit it in your macros. Fill that in with whatever your vice is (chocolate, fried foods, etc).

Best of luck to those who are trying to lose weight.

btw for my brahs, u aware?

Awful deal...

This caffeine is too expensive!

Also if you eat carbs around your Yohimbe you will increase your insulin spike & negatve any "fat burning effects".

This crap is useless... Might as well buy caffein pills...

Seriously stop watching Dr.Oz guys!

I totally agree with what you're saying--the only way to produce good, lasting weight change is get your lifestyle in check, making sure that your diet and exercise match your expectations of what your body is going to be like.

That said, pills like this do help people, at least in the short term. Caffeine and yohimbine likely increase metabolism (and therefore total energy expenditure) slightly; they may also curb appetite and food craving, which is ultimately much more important to the average person than the accurate but simplistic "calories in, calories out" summary lets on. The stimulant effects often encourage people to be active, too, which further increases caloric deficit and keeps people away from snacking on a couch. These are all quite well-studied and well-documented effects of the substances; the criticism, rightly levied, is that without lifestyle adjustment, you'll fall right back into the diet and exercise patterns you had before--the long-term usefulness is thus understandably disputed.

People actually believe this crap works???
my thought exactly.
A simple search of "weight loss pills" on NCBI shows various results on why weight loss pills are very dangerous.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23480888

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23573098

They cause arrythmias and increased heart rate to the point where it can be fatal.
Some products are hepatotoxic as well.

"Hydroxycut has to be considered as a potential trigger for otherwise unexplained ischemic colitis."
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23596542

you guys should seriously consult a doctor before taking these pills. And I'm 95% sure your doctor would recommend you stay away from these pills and rather you adopt healthy eating habits.

this is a pill that claims it can help you lose weight.
If you want to gain weight, which i'm guessing you mean muscle, you need to eat at least 500 more calories than you normally do.
Lean meat + whey protein (optimum nutrition)

It has Yohimbine dosed fairly highly so it may not be for everyone. Otherwise a good deal if you're looking for a fat burner. Don't forget to add two samples!
It is Yohimbe, not Yohimbine HCl. GNC sells Yohimbe 451, which is 9 times more than in one of these pills. If 56.3 Mg of Yohimbine HCl was in this versus Yohimbe you would have people falling out everywhere since most folks say a beginner should start with no more than 2.5 Mg per dose.

I make my own energy tabs and pre-workout pills, not saying I am an expert since I am far from it, but most workout forums have members that post their own mixes and formulas for making your own instead of paying 10 times more than what you could make yourself.

while you speak the truth "if it fits your macros' is much easier when trying to gain muscle and thus in a caloric surplus. I weigh 145 and am eating around 1800 calories or so to loose weight. if I want to eat a fat piece of cheesecake that's like half my daily calories so I would basically be starving most of the day to accommodate that cheesecake. what I have found to work time and time again is having a cheat day every 2 weeks or so where I eat whatever I want and it replenishes lepetin levels and keeps metabolism from slowing down due to constant defecit so your progress continues.
