The Deal is DEAD.
Please be cautious about providing Rakuten (Buy.com) with your real credit card account number to dramatically reduce the risk of any later occurrences of credit card fraud as a result of the apparent Rakuten customer data security breach. Please consider other services (V.me, PayPal, Virtual Credit Card Number, MasterCard MasterPass, GoogleCheckout or Gift Card) instead. At least 214 SlickDeals Users have had their credit card account number compromised as a result of recent Rakuten (Buy.com) purchases. There are many more instances now appearing on other deal boards too regarding the stolen credit card account information and subsequent fraudulent transactions. (This is not meant to say anything negative about deals that may exist at Rakuten. It's only meant to draw attention to the integrity of their order processing department. Please support the original poster on the deal itself.)

Reason: DEAD DEAL
I was a flashlight a holic for many years and have a whole collection of 18650 and CR123 flashlights, batteries and chargers. I don't know how things are now but back in the days the rechargeable batteries and the chargers themselves were all pretty much shipped from China with names like Trustfire, Ultrafire, etc.
I've been wanting to simplify though and have been converting my collection to standard AA and AAA flashlights. The newer flashlights are not bad at all. If I didn't recently purchase a Fenix TK41 I would be all over this to have a very high output flashlight that uses AA batteries.
If you are looking for the smallest and brightest flashlights then you probably have to stay lithium rechargeables, but if you are okay with bright lights that are still very usable staying AA with good quality AA Eneloops is the way to go. In a disaster scenario I feel more comfortable knowing that all my lighting equipment works with standard batteries and not just the ones that I happen to have charged on hand.
Dammit guys, I'm so bummed out. Why did I keep getting "invalid coupon"? I tried with like three different new accounts. Did you guys get it with Paypal, or with a CC? Really wish I could have gotten this deal.
Guys, be on the lookout. I heard from multiple people that they were getting shady things happening after ordering from rakuten. Sure, enough. My credit card was stolen last night via online methods, not physical. They tried to order a lenovo computer to some hotel address in Florida.
