I noticed that Dr. Bronner soaps were included in the GNC deal. Normally these 32oz soaps are ~$17 each on Amazon and the Dr. Bronner's site. Shipping is $1, or free with shoprunner.

You also get a free GNC Gold membership with your $10+ purchase.

edit: Sorry, I just realized the Eucalyptus is not B1G1 50% off.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It's a general purpose liquid soap made in the Castile style (mostly Organic Olive Oil and Coconut Oil/Hemp vs. animal/other fats). It foams/suds up really well compared to some other natural soaps. It gets decent marks on Skin Deep for toxins. http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/produ...lation%29/ (Link says it's the old formula so maybe there is a new one on there too)

The soap seems a bit more liquid-y than what you normally find at the store for hand soap.

Hope this helps.
Thank you..

The peppermint flavor makes a great toothpaste.

I used the bar soap on my waist length, fine hair and did not need to use conditioner afterwards. However, I stopped using it as shampoo when I noticed white powder on my hairbrush...guess it was leaving soap residue in my hair. Frown Perhaps the liquid works better w/o residue?
They are "real" soap...most soaps (such as the hand soaps in pump dispenser bottles) are actually chemicals and foaming agents. For those that avoid animal products, I purchased the peppermint bars previously and they are not animal-product based! woot Also, the peppermint scent is wonderful and invigorating. I have a weak sense of smell, so I can barely smell it, but others seem to indicate that it is quite strong.

What water-to-soap ratio do you use? I have pets and this sounds safer than using chemicals...even the ones that claim to be non-toxic. TIA Smilie
I use are 2T per 32oz of water and spray the plants. My DH uses a garden sprayer so do the math based on your size sprayer.

Just got back from GNC..Printed the $10 off $20 or more & was able to get 2 bottles of 32oz soap + 2 bars of soap for only $13! That was seriously a great deal, just one of these bottles can sell for $10+ each.

Can't rep you, but I wanted to say thanks for the reply. It's nice to find a non-toxic method of discouraging unwanted creepy crawlies.

Just picked up the Peppermint 32oz at TJs. So far it's great. It foams up really nice and doesn't seem to dry out our skin.

Have not used it in the shower. I'm curious, what happens if you don't dilute it 90%? Does it clog drains or something?
No, it's just overtly strong (especially the peppermint..) and suds up great by using a separate bottle to water it down. The bottle even says to dilute it....Somewhere. Oh, plus it'll last longer.

Don't understand the hype for this product

Tried it and it dries out my skin and causes it to itches like crazy - now I use it as a toilet bowl cleaner
this could be a few things.

you might have used too much or didn't dilute enough. all the regular soaps and body washes have lots of fillers in them so you have to use alot more. this is pure soap and a little goes a loooong way.

your skin could also be sensitive to scent you bought. a friend visiting me tried the citrus and loved it. she went home a bought the lavender and had a similar reaction to it as you. she then picked up the citrus and had no issues. her skin is just sensitive to lavender and she didn't know it because she had never come in direct contact with it in a pure form before.

you might also want to try the bars. it's basically the same ingredients in slightly different proportions to make it solid. the side effect of which is it's more moisturizing.
