OMGOSH OMGOSH. Finally got this router!!

I've been waiting since Thanksgiving 2012, which was the lowest it ever was (without being a price mistake, that goes to B&H for $109) at Newegg for $149.99, however that had a $40 rebate with a Windows 8 Pro Upgrade license. This is $152.99 with NO rebate..

It's a no-brainer. If you're on the fence, this is a really really good router at a great price! Buy it before it's OOS!!

Dude... time to hop on Newegg chat. I got the difference back:

You are welcome and thank you for holding. Please kindly note that all of our pricing and promotions are listed online, Due to the constant fluctuation of prices in this market we cannot offer any price guarantees. This (exception) is normally outside of our standard policy/process. However, we value you as a customer of Newegg and I really want to help resolve your situation so I have issued you a $18 credit into your account to honor new promotion code and price difference for you this time. It will take 3-5 business days for the funds to be posted onto your original payment method.

Buy this one now and then use it as a bridge or access point later.

When is expected release date for that router? If it's soon I'll wait as well.

I saw the 67u and it looks like the Netgear.

No physical antennas ???? NO WAY!

Internal antennas are weak man and only for show and looks!

I have had this one for a few months now and love it. The cloud piece is awesome. No longer use DropBox. I don't use the AC yet but for $30 more at the time it made sense as this will be the newest standard in WiFi.

Their firmware is perfectly acceptable. I wouldn't make that the deciding factor.

Great deal! Thanks, OP. I noticed that Amazon dropped their price a bit today to $174, and was contemplating getting this router. I almost got the refurb version last week for $140. Glad I waited.

So for current 'N' performance, is this as good as or any better than the current N version ( RT-N66U) ?

I just got this. Using their beta firmware right now. I can't tell if I love it or if I'm just okay with it. It replaced a Buffalo GNH that was running DD-WRT which I was really impressed with.
