Media coverup in the Benghazi incident

dealgate 962 May 9, 2013 at 07:54 AM
This article pretty much sums up what most people already know: the media covers for this administration. The news gets out anyway but it is really bad when you have legitimate reporters that are asking out of their contracts due to stories not friendly to "team obama" being censored.

I don't think you can rationally come to any other conclusion.

In the real world, when you cover up four murders after the fact, you likely go to jail. In government, you retire with dignity and run for president with full media support.

Up until yesterday, that was the Benghazi scenario following the death of four Americans including our ambassador to Libya.

The Obama administration has lied, stonewalled, bullied, and intimidated – the true marks of an open and transparent administration. And, with a few notable exceptions, the American media haven’t just let them get away it. Heck, they’ve helped.

Obama claims he ordered that all that could be be done...yet it wasnt. So, did Obama or did people not follow orders? Pretty simple.

they are arguing if anyone actually said "stand down". Funny they have to turn to this kind of nitpicking.

Pentagon spokesman Maj. Rob Firman said: “They weren’t told to stand down. They were simply told not to go to Benghazi. They were told to go to the airport in Tripoli to provide security there.”

bho admin:

Do not go to Benghazi <> Stand Down

BUT

no acts of terror = what happened in Benghazi was an act of terrorism

Reminds me of this classic:

"Have stopped beating your wife."

Or of this classic fallacy: question begging.

You're dodging the point he made.
Either Obama was not truthful in his statement, or someone didnt follow the orders he gave.
It's really that simple...

There is heavy question begging in there.

And I am not avoiding anything. If you ask a simpler more straightforward question, you will get an answer.

It is simple and straightforward.
The only conclusion one can come to, is that either Obama was not being truthful, or someone else ignored his orders.

What other conclusion could you come to?

You seem to ignore my claim that this is a case of begging the question.

If it was truly question begging, it would be a simple matter to explain how, rather than just continue to assert it. Logical fallacies are fallacious because they can lead to incorrect conclusions. This is what you have not been able to demonstrate.

Muslim Brotherhood gets overthrown and within hours, Obama's White House is publishing photos of him with all of his chief advisers in the Situation Room or whatever important room he's in...

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2...ies-regime

Compare that to the slaughter of four American's in Benghazi and anybody who questions where President Obama is is talking about an issue that "happened a long time ago" and is "irrelevant" where President Obama actually was.
