Best price I have seen. I own one and it works great for quick jobs.

$99.97 at Costco [costco.com]

The DC34 includes a crevice tool and combination accessory tool, as well as a 2 year parts and labor warranty.

Good price, but looks like a bad product. There are so many refurbished Dyson's out there and I've read somewhere that a repair shop gets in more Dyson vacs than any other brand. I have a Shark Lift Away that's less than half the price of a Dyson, and I'm perfect happy with that. But anyway if you want this handheld, then this is a good price.
It's from Costco, so you won't need a repair shop if it breaks.

Why wouldn't one buy this one - twice as cheap and much better reviews?

Brand recognition I guess. But I agree there are much better options to Dyson if people look beyond the brand.

Dyson has 2 year warranty, but still who wants to be bothered having to return stuff for service?

Bought this about least 3 years ago and would not want any other vacuum to do minimal cleaning. We just bought the DC41 and though these are expensive, they out perform others. Compared the amount of filth in the Dyson vs the Hoover that we were using, Dyson picked up more dust than the other vacuum we were using. $ worth spent, IMO. Thanks for the post!

Had one of these, they are terrible, not on suction but on filters. I used it on my car for like 4-5 mins got most out, but a lot of dust and hair got pass the little cloth filter and into the suction motor itself.

Woohoo .. got one. Buy first, think later .. I guess I can return to the store if I decide otherwise. I'm looking for a handheld cordless vacuum. There are mixed reviews for this model, e.g. short battery life, etc. Any other brands/models to suggest?

6 minutes on turbo probably is kinda short, but I can't see using a handheld all that much, I got this so I don't have to drag a vacuum out to the garage to do cars and that sort of thing.
