Brunswick is one of the higher end makers of pool/tennis tables. I think thre great quality and never had any problems with my pool table.

Copying and pasting my post from another thread:

I've done a lot of research on ping pong tables and found this [sears.com] Prince Challenger table at Sears to be the best value. I was able to grab it for ~$300 around Black Friday but the current price is still pretty good. You won't find a 1" top for that price anywhere else. My main gripe with it is the edges didn't line up perfectly, but it's nothing too serious. It's built like a $500+ table.

I remember paying few hundred for tables that were used during ping pong tournaments. Little nicks here and there but it's nice

Yours is a single piece, this is a two piece table.

Table tennis posts are rare. When I happen to come across one, I do try to post that info which may help others. Not sure why you find that sad.

The Challenger is 2 piece. A bit defensive I see. Obviously it's not just me since your wonderful deal has a -3 rating.

The table you linked can't be split into two part,, it'll only fold. I don't think it matters too much though. A bit more bulky the most.

Dunno how this got voted down so low, especially when the price includes shipping. Perhaps, because Cosco requires membership...

If you will keep the table open all the time, this really doesn't matter. But, if you are tight on space, and will need to fold it up and move it around, things change. Single-piece is heavier to move around, and will be larger to store. Two-piece tables basically fold-up into two panels, you can even repurpose them for space separation if you like.

The Joola Atlanta Olympic table is 1286.00 on Amazon with Prime shipping, a $400.00 savings. It's big bucks, but it is one of the very best tables in the world and will last a lifetime. When you buy a quality tennis table, you only cry once.

Notwithstanding, I saw the Brunswick tennis tables in a billiard/game room store, and they looked very well-crafted, but a 16mm top is too thin for a serious table. 1" MDF or 3/4" HDF is the standard, and some very high-end tables have 1.2" MDF tops. Not only does a thicker top make the top more durable, but more important, the thickness effects the bounce. I suspect that the Brunswick tables are OEM'd, as are their billiard balls and billiard cues, and I don't know who manufactures them, but they have similarities to the Kettler/Joola tables. The Joola tables are made in Germany, as are the better Stiga and Butterfly tables. i believe that the Kettler, Prince, et al lower-priced tables are made in China.

I never hesitate to buy from COSTCO because of their return policy, but if you had to return a table yourself, and tennis tables often get damaged in shipping because of their size and weight, it would take a lot of effort.
