Playtex Diaper Genie Refills- 3 boxes (9 refills) for the price of 2 boxes for $39.98 + free shipping

http://www.diapers.com/p/playtex-...3-pk-25172

The price quoted above ($40 bucks) is for 3 boxes of refills for diaper genies (9 total refills). Because it is over $35, you get free two-day shipping.

Use code LOVE1FREE and BABY16B to bring total to $31.98

But, please note that all Diaper Genie items (including on-the-go packs) are buy 2, get 1 free, except individual refills. So, you could buy one pail and two sets of wipes, or three two-packs of 3 refills (18 refills). You could buy 3 pails for all I care. Go nuts! Get creative. We don't judge.

They repost this deal periodically, so if you miss it this time, it will probably come around again in three months or so. I posted this deal because I so rarely see diaper genie deals on other sites. Plus, my black triangle recently went back down to purple.
As always, free two-day shipping when you spend $35 across all their sites (e.g., soap.com, wag.com). Award winning, spare-no-expense customer service. They accept UPromise.

We used Target bags until our baby was about 5 months old. Once she started on the solids, I'd highly recommend using the official bags. The seal is better, though there will still be a slight odor when you open it up to toss a diaper in. And for just wet diapers, you could throw that in to a regular trash bin. It's the BM's that will smell bad....

Just open the diaper genie and put in a Target type bag in like you would around a waste basket (the middle slot opening, not the top slot opening with the pedal). Close the diaper genie and it'll still work pretty well.

There are tons on youtube. Just search for diaper genie hack. I haven't hacked mine yet (our guy is only 10 weeks old) but it seems that it's not a perfect hack. The trash bag is a static mechanism so if you are disposing of a sizeable mess and get s*** all over the exposed part of the bag/entry, the bag doesn't travel with the diaper (as it would with a proper refill). You're stuck with a visibly poop stained vestibule until you change it.

Well, the key is to make sure you wrap the diaper itself pretty good, which i would do anyway with the regular refill. When the little one poop, I made sure the wet towel to wipe her goes inside the diaper and then wrap it up really good so there is no mess..... also dont forget to lay baking powder at the bottom of the pail

Only seeing 5% S&S on the Amazon link, which makes it ~$48 with the current price there for the same quantity. In the event someone sees it cheaper but it detered by the dire warnings on the Amazon packaging, I've had no issues on the last 3 (1 box) we got from them in our DG Elite.

Seems like a decent deal at the Diapers link.

With the coupon on the page, it's down to $11.55.

That would bring it to $38.65 if you felt the need to buy 3.

Ah, didn't know this needed the coupon as well. I can't see it, probably because I used it when I bought these just last month. Deal must be YMMV for Amazon then.
