I'd jump if they had $50 giftcard instead of coupons that may or may not be applicable to my needs. I'm happy with the Sam's Club deal.

You must be one of those people that buys a big screen TV before the superbowl and returns it after.

This is a regular deal by costco generally provided to MyPoints members... Members also earn points for buying through mypoints.

This deal is for First time members only, NOT valid on renewals

do you have a link to this for mypoints? I have been apart of mypoints since 2005 and I cant find anything for this deal on their site..

Let's say one uses this deal to upgrade to Executive membership. Then at the end of membership period can you downgrade to goldstar and get your $55 less cashback earned back? Assuming that the cashback is less than $55.

I was an add-on on someone else's membership which had expired 6 months ago. Would I qualify for this deal if I applied for my own membership?

Unfortunately, the nearest costco to me is 34 miles one way. I've never been close enough to one to justify a membership.

Zulily is a reputable site. It is considered a member only site hence the sign up. However their Customer service is the best i have ever dealt with. I would buy from them all the time if i could rather than bother with the customer service elsewhere.
I just adbocked all over their html overlay div elements to see before registering for any crap and getting tons of useless daily deal emails. I hate when sites like these force you to sign up before you can view anything.

Had they thrown in a free $20 gift card i would have signed up for the deal. I dont not care for free chicken and batteries. I guess costco doesnt need to compete with sams and bjs?

This is how it is at a Sam's, not sure about Cosco. I would imagine that it is easier for a partial refund, than a full refund. On the fence about this deal, our Cosco always look 3x as crowded and it is a 30 min drive. Are the products worth the wait and drive than going to Sam's?

Can't imagine even a single person not saving enough at Costo prices to justify membership.

Wifey and I have spent around $200,000 at Costco over the years... likely saved $60-80K vs buying elsewhere. Kirkland "house brand" products have been uniformly excellent.

Sam's Club has more name brand stuff, but the overall experience is very similar to Costco.

If you've got a family and kids and are not a Costco/Sam's/BJ's member, you're wasting a LOT of money needlessly.

And at Costco with an Executive membership, I get the savings from reduced costs PLUS 2-3X in rebate checks over the cost of the membership.. a true NO BRAINER!!
Haha..no brainer? Sorry I don't have a need for 99% of their stuff. Not taking anything away from them as they are a good company..but since it's just me at home, there is really no savings on groceries..and I don't need any Kirkland brand clothing, olive oil, or their over priced wine. Electronics? Costco can always be price matched or beaten by reputable online retailers (even BestBuy matches) and usually without sales tax.
