Fitbit FLEX or Fitbit ONE for $70.35 Includes 6% Tax and Shipping

This has a couple steps but it works, confirmed!

First, you must purchase a $50 Brookstone Groupon for $25

Do this here [groupon.com]

Then, go to Brookstone.com and find the Fitbit FLEX here [brookstone.com]

Add to the cart and add the promo code MEMDAY20 for 20% off

You must use the manual checkout from the beginning to also be able to add your groupon gift card in the Review and pay step. After you use your groupon you can finish checking out with paypal or amazon.

See attached picture. Picture does not include the $25 cost for Groupon!

Enjoy Smilie

By the way, since someone will point it out, Slate color ships on June 6th, Black on June 20th.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

see my post at the link below for info on how to get an additional $5 off in store:

Android users: Use Market Helper http://forum.xda-developers.com/s...?t=2146216 to enable the app sync on your device

5/29/2013 Update from ktbass:
FYI, the MEMDAY20 is no longer working, but this code will give you $20 off $100 (which still works for the Fitbit Flex) = AFDAD20
I just placed an order, total was $46.25 + $25 Groupon = $71.25

Update:
It looks like they will send $50 brookstone gift card which I dont really like as I dont buy anything from brookstone, so I called them again and she said it got cancelled because of the glitch in the system and she placed the same order again successfully.
---
Alert:
Guys, I placed that order yesterday with these offer, was very happy.. But i just called the customer service they said the order is cancelled for no reason.. please call and check and reply please.
---
Alright, i called them again they confirmed that order is cancelled for some reason, and they said I will get $50 in the mail as giftcard and the rest of the money will go back to my paypal account.
---

PC Magazine [pcmag.com] says:
Quote :
For my money, the Fitbit One remains the best activity tracker on the market, and our Editors' Choice. But if you'd prefer to wear a tracker around your wrist, don't hesitate to order a Fitbit Flex.
If you have a Wii Fit balance board, you can use the WiiScale app on Android [google.com] or OS X [snosrap.com] to sync weight/BMI to Fitbit's servers.

Or this Android app: Fit Scales [google.com]

For Windows Phone Users:

Fitbit Tracker App Info [wpcentral.com]

Fitbit Tracker Download [windowsphone.com]

I just called the 800 number to place 2 orders - they waived shipping charges! $36.87 +$25 = $61.87. Slick! She said that was what they were doing for all orders calling in. <---She lied. I called and was told free shipping could not be stacked with 20% off.

Use Code: AFDAD20 for $20 off until 6/7 (thanks snoopyrichie!)
Use Code: 20GIFT for $20 off (Ordered in-store and AFDAD20 did not work. The manager used 20GIFT for my order.)

What is someone's take on this gadget that has recently used this or something similar. Is it actually worth the money?

here are my thoughts on it.. I have a fitbit one, my GF has both the fitbit flex and the fitbit one

http://slickdeals.net/f/6038928-Fitbit-Flex-80-tax?v=1&p=59558656#post59558656

for me the cons outweigh the pros... I like my fitbit one much better...but it all depends on what you want and need in a device... and do you need the extras the fitbit one does that the flex doesnt and vs versa (waterproof is one example).. also you must think about wearing it on your wrist and if you wear a watch as well... but to some thats a plus not a con... bc you wear it all the time and its harder to lose... but Ive had my fitbit one for 7 months now and I always wear it when I get up 1st thing...and I never have come even close to losing it.. I use the clip and also just put it in my deep pocketed shorts... and if I wear shallow pocket shorts I wear it on the waist band or clip it on the pocket... so for me the wrist version is a hindrance not a plus... I think it the flex had a real display like the one or zip it would be harder to pick either or... but the fitbit one also will sync with your bluetooth 4.0 phone or pc just like the flex will

will either make you exercise or increase your steps... yes and no IMO... I think the more aware of how lazy and sedentary we are, the more likely we are to park father out, take the stairs and or make time bc we see how low our activity level is at work etc...so it can be a good motivator...but all motivators slowly lose their pull over time... so you just gotta challenge yourself and stick to it... thats where having your friends on the website to see who is 1st and such... make bets etc... it can become more interesting that way...

I bought one a few weeks ago and sold it a couple days later. I like the One MUCH better.
I never wear a watch, so something on my wrist was annoying. However, the biggest issue was the zero tracking while pushing a stroller and the hundreds of extra "steps" at home. I don't know if I talk with my hands a ton or what, but I wore my Flex and One at the same time and the Flex always showed double to triple the results.

This deal should work on the Fitbit One also, correct? How long does it take to get the Groupon coupon code? I recall in the past, you had to wait until the deal was over for some deals.

The fitbit one is great. I started wearing it December 22nd, I had just decided to finally get healthy about a week before. Since dec 22nd I have lost right at 80lbs. The device helped me stay motivated by letting me know how lazy I was on certain days. I think it's great and can help.

Excellent deal. I answered my own question, the Brookstone Groupon is instantly sent to you.

Total after tax + $25 groupon is $70.86 for me. Great price for the Fitbit One!

Thanks OP.

OP. I just saw your made several other threads, no need for multiple threads. Plus, this is $20 off, not 20%. Comes out the same for the Fitbit but not for more expensive items.
