Hey, I know there are a bunch of old threads about this but here goes: My girlfriend cancelled our service (under her name) about 5 months ago, and I'm trying to sign up as a new customer with comcast. I'm talking to an online sales rep (I was told that these guys are often outsourced and aren't always as aggressive), and he's asking me when we moved in. My question is, if they know we've been here for 2 years, is it possible to sign up as a new customer even though my girlfriend (who lives in this apartment as well) had an account with them a few months back? Thank you guys so much for helping me out with this.

Bump. Do they have to roll a truck?

Just call the 800 comcast number.

Tell them you want to disconnect your service.

Wait for the next day, and have your roommate/spouse sign up online under their name.

Internet goes up almost immediately after you signed up.
Is there an installation fees if you disconnect and signup under a new name? TIA.
