YOU do a pick up of 500 lbs of sand! Just FYI, those bags are not extremely sturdy nor exceptionally well sealed. I had one punctured by a paver, and it leaked sand all over (mostly on a tarp) on the way home. Seems like several of the bags had leaks, too.

I bought 220 brick pavers this weekend and was not happy after moving them three times (onto cart, into vehicle, into garage). If there's free or low cost shipping, it might be worth investigating!

Most people pay for a gym membership and you got a workout for free!! Lowes should have charged you extra.

Part of the problem was that I was at the gym the day before and already sore to start with! Big Grin

Something I never knew before I got into the sandbox business with my 4 year old, but there is a difference between regular sand (used for building I suppose) and Play Sand. The regular sand is filled with more dust and dirty things; the play sand was clean almost as if someone filtered out all of the crap.

Also, disposing of sand can be a pain. I had 150 lbs of sand I had to periodically scoop into the trashcans for pickup. It took the better part of a summer to rid myself of the excess sand I purchased.

Not sure if serious or not.

Could've used this deal about 6 months ago - back then it was $3.50/bag and I needed 60.

Home depot just had a sale last week $2 for a 50lb bag of play sand.

They now have some for $2.38 regular price FYI.
