I know this is off topic, but anyone know how difficult it is to repair a cracked screen on the S4?
IF all 3 layers (LCD>Digitizer>Top Glass) are glued together like in the S3, then I'd say
not difficult but experience required.
I attempted to fix an S3, and burned the digitizer.
Back then (10mos ago) price for switching top glass was $100+, now I see one guy doing it for $50 (appears he supplies the 15$ part, found on fleabay)
*I had the S3 sitting, 1mo ago I called Samsung, they charge $180 to replace LCD/Dig/Glass, I sent it, 2wks ago got it back, (for whatever reason they only charged me $150 )
I'd call them up and see cost for S4 (since I haven't seen any on CL doing this, yet)

Should receive updates much faster vs. mobile carriers. Worth the extra $50 IMO.
Sounds like a good idea
This is actually great! The only thing that will kind of suck about this nexus galaxy s4 is that all the cool software features like air view, air gestures, the great camera interface etc, will not be available anymore.. The sensor at the top left of the device will be rendered useless! Which I'm finding kind of disappointing.. What a waste! And the price as well. I would happily pay that much if they were to keep those samsung software features, or made an exception and added them to the nexus user interface.
Until I hear about this
When will the S3's start to come down in price?
S3 has been under $400 several times recently on SD. Search the forums
Btw, in case anyone needed a carrier-specific US version, it's only $40 more at AT&T
