Paypal is still traceable ..

Quote from aleck View Post :
That's correct. Unlike your ISP, VPN providers are often located overseas and have specific policies regarding destruction of activity logs. You still have to take their word for it. You can pay with PayPal or a prepaid card.

anybody?
ISP might be throttling based on traffic type. VPN shields traffic.

Traffic shaping by your ISP to limit your upload, or your test is giving false results.

Dear Slickdealers,

Great questions, please keep them coming!

Says they don't log, but there is a pretty detailed conduct clause in the TOS. I'm confused by this...
How would they know what is going on unless they log or monitor traffic??
privateinternet: can you please describe your companies logging/tracking/monitoring policies regarding the conduct clause in the TOS?

Ok I have a simple question. If I purchase this would I be able to use Mlb.tv in my local market to watch games? I am in Dallas and cant watch Ranger games because they are blacked out. I got hotspot shield and even paid for the premium but it doesn't work with mlb.tv (still says blacked out). I am looking for a way to get past mlb.tv blackout.

How are you checking your IP number? If you check locally your IP won't appear as changed, but if you use a web browser based check http://www.whatsmyip.org/ it should (provided your VPN is setup for all connections).
Yeah, checked externally (ipchicken.com).

Changing my DNS servers didn't help either. Last time this happened, had to reset my wifi adapter via cmd prompt.

Probably should enable some sort of kill switch when VPN fails...

Dear Knowledgable Denizens:
Thank you for this thread, as it has made me incredibly paranoid and now I want to participate in this slickdeal. But even the purchase seems fraught with peril, and I'm too lazy to buy with Bitcoin. So...if I go to my local store can I find an Amex or Visa prepaid card, pay for that with cash, and successfully use that to purchase this service to hide my internet traffic from most prying eyes? Can anyone confirm successfully executing this to successfully purchase service?

As far as I know, prepaid cards can no longer be used internationally thanks to our Homeland Security, make sure VPN billing is in US.

why would you prefer this over Hamachi?
Maybe one of the posts in the following link may help

I always pay with bitcoin. They also take ripple and are the first merchant I've seen who accept that.
I just don't get how this BitCoin process works, after reading may guides it still confusing and complicated.

Can you share your process for using bitcoins (for eg: which site, how you pay .. most of the well reviewed sites want to link my bank account for buying bitcoins.

I get about a 10% hit on speed, nothing big. Lots of servers, great support, port rerouting, kill switch, easy to use app on all desktop and mobile platforms. HIGHLY recommended.
Kill switch? Do you mean 'disconnect' right-click on tray icon?

No. Some VPN software has a feature where if it detects your VPN isn't functional, it kills all internet traffic on your computer. Ideal for downloaders...
