these come with $0 airtime now, they changed them a couple months ago, no more free t mobile Smilie

tbh, I'm just trying to recoup costs from when I needed one and they charged me the $10.
I'm still annoyed by that....

T-Mobile finally realizes ppl buying these kits to use them as middle man to "port" their landline numbers to Google voice. They don't make any money outta it.

$10 is really not that bad. Walk into a Best Buy and ask how much they want for a Verizon sim if you think $10 is outrageous.

For people who intend to actually switch to a T-Mobile monthly rate, does this version of it waive the activation fee?

I notice that if you try to sign up with a plan, it says the 35$ activation fee is waived.
