This deal is for some people who can afford expensive watches, but obviously it is not for some people who want to wear Timex.
I am pretty sure some post like this "my timex is better, cheaper and lasts longer than this tag heuer" will be here.
So, the deal is hot for some and cold for others. It is up to you to buy the cheap watch or the expensive watch. Expensive watch doesn't mean that it is a bad deal. Different people might have different opinion. Otherwise, there won't be rich and poor.

FYI : LVMH stands for Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy. They are reputable. They own many well-known brands including Louis Vuitton, Sephora, Zenith, Tag Heuer, etc.

Please note that they charge TAXES. Free Shipping and No Return. There is 2 year warranty for Tag Heuer. If you want to extend it, buy it with some credit card that can extend your warranty.

i bought a watch from them during 2011's winter sale. my watch arrived within 5 days and it was as described.

the battery stopped working after 4 months and i didnt wear it for the next 6. when i finally got around to sending it in, there was a quick form you need to fill out on the website and you need to include your warrenty card.

they called me back and wanted to charge me $150 to change the battery but the guy cleared it up since it was still within 2 years of purchase.

my experience wasn't bad.... i would definitely buy from them again.
Damn $150? If you get one of those watch tool kits for $5, you can do it yourself. I have a tag aquaracer (women's) and it took me 5 minutes. The back case is really easy to open. Just FYI next time you have to change the battery.

My local Costco has a Calibre 1887 for about $3500. I'll be interested to see what the price is for this sale.

Has anyone bought from this company on the friends & family deal? Are they reputable, and are the deals pretty good?

Thanks
I bought last time it was on. Wearing the watch right now, beautiful Grand Carrera Calibe 6, paid $2000 for it and everywhere else around $3500

Battery service on a high end watch is not just swapping a battery. They change all the seals and pressure test it, and then guarantee the waterproofiness for a year from service. If you take your watch in water, as many Tag owners do, I'd suggest sticking to battery service from them. You only need it ever 5 years or so anyway.

i got a Tag Link for ~40% off last year, compared to Jared and other authorized retailers.
Price is better than Jomashop and other non authorized retailers, also get complete 2 year worldwide factory warranty.
I'm gonna get a newer Aquaracer or Carerra this time.

Only a few styles will be on sale though.

This is all true (and applicable to all dive watches, even the cheaper ones)...But if you have a local watchmaker (or jeweler who services watches), you can get the same service for much, much less. Generally faster turnaround, too.

Typically someone posts it here when the sale starts

What is the cheapest you can get a tag for at one of these sales?
Typically 700-800, but it varies, not all the watches will be on sale, just whatever ones they select, and that will determine the cheapest models available. And of course you may well not want the cheapest models in the sale, the last thing you want to do is "settle" for a lesser watch you don't like just to get a brand name on your wrist (IMHO anyways)

I wanted the calibre 36 from last year's sale.

But from what I gathered in the same thread last year, the 36 never goes on sale. Mad

For the most part, the words "high end" and "battery" shouldn't go together, IMO

I would rather wind my rolex up then worry about a battery.
