Means it wants access to stuff like Phone book, make calls without your consent, read SMS information, etc.

I'm not sure what the permissions it is asking for, but read through the user comments. These also pop up before installing the app with short descriptions.

Anyway, Ordered May 30th and JUST got the shipping notification that is is sent out on July 1st!

Better late then never I guess. This thing better be awesome for the hassle it's caused contacting the company to make sure they don't screw me over.

UPDATE:
I did just look in my account and seen that my timer was reset to use my trial 2gb + 1gb bonus for shipping delays. No other charges hit my account.

Just update. I found a way to cancel the $1.99 alert service, and upgraded to $3.99 500MB both 3G and 4G plan from the web site. Everything seems to be quite smooth. I added $10 to my account, hopefully, I always can get connection in my my areas.

Wow! Talk about a blast from the past. I still have my old Dell Axim X5 around here somewhere. It's got to be 10 years old. I'm guessing yours is a newer model if it has Wi-Fi built in.

Anyway, if the suggestions other people have made don't work, look in the Overdrive's Wi-Fi settings for something like "Wi-Fi power saving" and try disabling it. I don't know if Pro is the same as the regular Overdrive but that's what I had to change to get some devices to connect to mine.

Can anyone give me a phone number to actually talk to someone from this Freedompop? The number listed on "get a human" is a scam. When answered (regardless of time of day) it give a recording that they are very busy and to contact them via email. My emails are never answered.

They called and offered a monthly plan, saying I could easily cancel. Well, for two months I have been trying to cancel, but they keep ignoring me and charging my credit card.

Log into your account on the website, hover over "My Account" and click "Services". As long as "Usage Alerts" appears under Available Services and not My Services, you're fine.

Don't remember what day I ordered but they never actually processed the order. My card got refunded but I didn't notice.

Just got mine FINALLY yesterday. I can't find my account. The only e-mail I received on this purchase was the paypal authorization, according to my "search" of my email. Do they use a name other than freedompop? I clicked "reset password" and it said that an e-mail was sent to my account. It wasn't. ?????

Ordered the pro version on June 9th.
I sent a PM to FreedomPop on June 28 and got an immediate response, that my order may be filled this week. Since this is a holiday week, I am expecting they will ship them next Monday.
