do not understand why you keep talking about serious growing pains yet keep offering sponsored deals (via front page moderators, no less).

there are people in this forum who ordered over a month ago and haven't gotten their product. Others have billing and various customer service issues

why don't you fix your order fulfillment, billing and customer service issues first before you try to grow more? shake head

We've admitted to have some logistics and supply chain issues while fulfilling our orders, which has definitely becoming a learning period for us. However, we are confident with going forward. The devices we are offering at 60% savings is at our warehouses being prepped and are scheduled to go out this week. We're not able to erase what had happened in the past, but we are making huge strides going forward. We've ramped up our customer service team and made a lot of changes to help us get more efficient. wow. I just received my overdrive pro and it won't charge. apparently the charger doesn't work which has been an issue for the overdrive for months?! are you sure these devices was tested at all since it immediately asked for a firmware update as well.

I ordered my device June 12th and never got it. After going back and forth with Freedompop promising "any day now" while offering more devices for sale to new customers, I gave up and requested a refund.

I also got billed the monthly 3.99 while I was waiting so I had to contact them about that too.

I'm still waiting for the refund. I requested it a week ago.

We did work out the charger issues with the Overdrives previously, but we'd be happy to get you anther one if you want to pm us your email address and confirm a good shipping address.

It is taking 3 weeks to get the overdrive pro device to me. shipped on the 15th and the estimated delivery date is the 4th of september. I understand I live in Hawaii and I was not expecting overnight or 2 day delivery but 3 weeks is a very long time, considering I did pay the 15.99 for shipping on this deal ... usually normal delivery times is 1 week .... things i order on ebay from china w/ free shipping takes 3 weeks ...

Guys, check your credit card statements if you guys have ordered it before, and then canceled it (@gmail account) while waiting, and then ordered a OverdrivePro for $16. I've been a happy user with the free service, and I even charged my hotmail account $10 just in case and disabled auto top off.

Today I saw my credit card was charged $19.99 on 8/17. They shouldn't even have that card on their file since I used a different credit card for my one and only freedompop account (@hotmail).

I see nothing was charged in the hotmail account, and can't log in using gmail account since that account doesn't even exist. I've sent a PM to freedompop on SD. I hope they fix this quick or I'll have to file a dispute on charges. Now I'll have to go back check all my credit card statements.

When I canceled the non-pro and ordered the pro, they may have not disabled the monthly charge on the canceled non-pro device . My credit card was charged monthly fee on the canceled account - but my credit card took care of the charge.

If it happens again, I will send an email to Freedompop support. They have been pretty good to me, in terms of their response and service.

Hi there, if you have a billing issue or think you may have been erroneously charged, we'd be happy to take a look at your account. Our customer service desk will definitely be able to find out what was the source of the issue. This way we can provide you with a refund and make sure it doesn't happen again. If your credit card company just deals w/ it directly, we aren't notified, so we don't know to look at any problems.

It works really good. When I finally got the thing after a long wait all I had to do was turn it on and it worked. I only use it with nexus 7 and sometimes WiFi on my netbook for a minute and i barely used any of my data.

Ordered on 9/24, received shipping email 9/27, and got it 10/3. I didn't try it out until today though and it is working beautifully. The battery is charging. I hope I won't run into a problem later when I downgrade to the free plan. I am going to look into the virtual credit card via my bank.
