Got the Q's on the iPhone. Any idea how to print out so I can use at Publix since they will give $1 off their brand as competitor Q?

When I was younger I had a friend who's dad was a complete health nut. He would only eat fish and chicken, no fried, everything baked, nothing processed. Had his own garden. He would get up in the morning and run 5 miles, he would get home and run another 5 miles. On the weekends or when he was off work he would run 20 miles. This guys was to me a radical nut case. I hadn't seen my friend in many years. I asked him" how is your dad" He told me "he died 3 years after I seen you last" That would of made this guy 38. What did he die of? Cancer. I figured this guy would of lived to over 100.
If spending over $7 on hamburger and that is what you want to do, then by all means do it. But what I get a charge out of is, these people that spend $6 on a dozen eggs, because they are free range. It still came out of a chickens butt. I would really like to have seen the first guy to eat a chicken egg. Oh look something white just popped out of that chickens butt, lets eat it. LOL...
LOL love the egg bit. But you really need to look at health and eating habits on a much larger scale. Cancer can hit anyone. And drastically cut life expectancy. And environment has a part. One case of a health nut dying early isn't exactly conclusive lol.
The crazy part is the "OMG it's gonna kill you" people. yea, it might shave a few years off on average. Then again people do horrible stuff till their 100+. If they've got money to burn on $8 hamburger and want to buy "organic" good for them. But while their doing their whole uptight self righteous lecturing they fail to realize people who can afford "cheap" food and pay their bills live a hell of a lot longer than those who can't and starve.
Does anyone know thee answer to the question that was asked earlier? How many pounds of ground beef can we buy with this coupon?
I LOVE grain fed beef. The flavor is amazing. However, I can't usually justify in my mind its cost. I grew up with parents who bought the cheapest ground beef they could find and drained the grease carefully. This is what I was taught: http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com...ndbeef.htm

I am not a cat lover. My sister is deathly allergic to cats. When we were growing up we wore each other's clothes and if I ever even touched a cat, she would be ill for days. I learned to stay away from them and, just from habit, mostly still do.
As I said, I am not really a cat lover. (Now CATS are another thing altogether!)
I don't understand this comment at all. It's like you're implying 80/20 comes from a different, fatter species of cow, or that about half the fat doesn't cook off on a high heat device like a grill.
No I'm saying it's not meat. My mom pointed out stomach lining skin and other crap in ground beef that I had not noticed before, since then I can't buy them anymore. Specially those with covered packs. You should get your own nice meat from the store fridge and ask them to grind it for you. Yes it costs more but way better meat.
I'm a foodie, so love food debates, and loving this thread. We raised a cow and named it Cheeseburger... no hormones allowed to roam and butcher did all the hard stuff for us. $100 for the butcher and we had meat for a yr... Holy cow it was good. But really... I sent in a cow but can't honestly say if the meat came from my cow. The cost may have been what made it so delicious. Point is... You can't believe the packaging, so many loopholes and hand shaking that to really be aware of what u r eating you need to do all the work yourself.
ah well.. while you guys were out buying fatty beef... I was out at Winn-Dixie picking up Springer Hill Farms cage free/antibiotic free/hormone free vegetarian fed boneless chicken breasts for $1.39 a lb. :-)
