2nd Generation model BACK IN STOCK

Our 9579 27" IPS LED monitor has been a brilliant success. It is in such high demand that we can't keep it in stock. So obviously we should step up the production line and make more, right? Wrong!

While it was a brilliant success, there were some things that customers didn't like and asked to have improved. We've listened to those concerns, made appropriate changes, added a few improvements of our own, and are now offering the new and improved 27" IPS-ZERO-G Monitor at the same price point as the previous model!

The heart of this monitor is the brilliant display panel made by LG. This panel features a maximum brightness level of 440cd/m², a tight 2560x1440 maximum resolution, and up to 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. It features a 178° viewing angle in both the horizontal and vertical planes. The monitor is primarily intended for use with the Dual Link DVI-D interface, but a VGA interface is included as a backup.

The display is housed in an ultra-thin bezel with a glossy glass, anti-glare laminate that extends to the very edge of the bezel, for a clean, modern appearance. Responding to criticisms monitor's casing, we've upgrade it to an all metal case. The fixed plastic stand was replaced with a heavy-duty metal reinforced stand, which can be detached by removing a single screw. The monitor also sports a 100x100 VESA mounting pattern, making it compatible with most wall and desk mounts.

We also improved the interface to the monitor in two ways. First, we moved the connectors from the bottom of the panel, which offered too little room for maneuver, to the side, which makes it much easier to see and access the connections. We also improved the menu control buttons by making them larger, with greater spacing, and made the power button a different shape so that it is easy to distinguish by feel alone.

As with the previous model, we are standing behind this monitor with a 5-dead-pixel warranty for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. If you can count five dead pixels, we'll send you a new monitor.

Features:
  • 27" IPS monitor with LED backlighting
  • Ultra-thin bezel
  • 109 pixels per inch
  • 327 sub-pixels per inch in RGB format
  • 440 cd/m² maximum brightness (400cd/m² typical)
  • 6 millisecond typical gray-to-gray response time
  • 80,000:1 maximum dynamic contrast ratio
  • 16:9 aspect ratio
  • 2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz maximum resolution
  • Glass laminate glossy panel with antiglare coating
  • Includes VGA input for backup purposes
  • Removable and angle adjustable metal-reinforced stand

What's your point?

Might as well get a Qstar or the other one with the Samsung PLS panel. My Achieva Shimian IPSB (tempered glass) is dying, so it's about time I get a new one.

I'm surprised they only offer a 1 year warranty considering the industry "standard"/average for monitors is 3.

My IRUN has been running great. Had some problems was sent a new set of replacement boards for the monitor at which point i found out it was a loose cable in the board that runs to the monitor so have a set of replacements and a fully working monitor.

dude, how did you fix it?

the cables inside are hair-thin, I think I broke my whole monitor when I took it apart

what was your original issue? I haven't had too much time to play around with it, but I got nothing the first time I put the replacement mobo in

why do people care that this doesnt have hdmi?

1. hdmi doesnt support the 1440p resolution @60hz (unless thats changed?)
2. for this price u cant be picky with these specs
3. u can always get an adapter off amazon if u need hdmi that bad
4. dont be such a poser

Wow, this is the price I payed for my Korean 27" two months ago! (Well except that this has tax and shipping, so not exactly). I wonder if this uses the exact same panel as the Korean models. IIRC the Korean variants use the Apple Thunderbolt panel while the domestic ones use the Dell U27xx panels. Anyone know if this is accurate?
