Soar, you're lucky; $30. I wouldn't mind grabbing a black & white for that price. Nice setup too
Yes, I was very fortunate. Corsair's website was sold out literally within minutes. Shipping killed it for most people. Fortunately I am only two hours from their factory, so the shipping was something like $4.
BTW, Corsair advertised them as refurb's, but I could not find any sign of usage at all.
Great deal on a great computer case. Thanks for posting this.
200R also only has 4 internal 3.5" bays, while 500R has 6 (plus 4 vs. 3 external 5.25". Front firewire also, if that matters.
I'm in the same boat as goodfella218 (not my first build, but I like what I see in the 500R better than the 200R), but I already cut out the UPC and sent in the rebate on the 200R.
200R is a great budget case if you're building stuff in the $300-450 maybe even $500 range. but once you start going a bit higher it makes sense to get a better case and spend a bit more. the other reason you'll want to just get a better case is that you'll end up getting more fans and having to buy less fans to keep your system cool.
