Thanks for the feedback - you are spot on. I do have Anveo on my OBI, but could not see any activity on Anveo.com

Is there any other log on my OBI, I could check to confirm that these calls are coming from Anveo ?
You have to find out the IP address of your device, enter that in your browser, in login prompt enter admin/admin. Afterwards, you should be able to find the device logs on the SPs somewhere in there (don't have this readily available to me now to point out where they are exactly).

Thanks a lot - I will try that tonight. But, I went ahead and applied option 3 from that blog on my Anveo SIP line. Hope that blocks it for once and all.

Bought one of these recently. Setup GV on it, ported my home Vonage number to it (T-mobile pre paid first), it's all good.

I have ooma as my main home phone number. As ooma dont have free call forward, can I used this to forward my all call to my cell phone?
You don't need the Obi for that. You can setup a GV number, give out that number and configure GV to forward to whatever phone you like.

Anyone getting spammed from 1001 or 1002 on their OBI devices ?

I applied the rule to block calls from 4 digit numbers, but the spam calls are still ringing on the phone connected to the OBI. I cannot see these calls on my GV call log - these calls must be from SIP scanners and directly calling the OBI device.
Interesting...will keep an eye out for this, just setup my Obi100/GV a few days ago.

How did you apply the rule to block calls from 4 digit numbers?

I bought a obi and I now have a GV number, haven't used it much so I was wondering what others experiences have been regarding call quality ?

Glad I bought this earlier this morning. Was looking into Ooma then saw the Obi and was considering which model to buy..this sealed the deal. Can't wait.

I followed step 4 from this blog
http://www.obitalk.com/forum/inde...topic=5467

I added the text in red to the X_InboundCallRoute under SP1 service
{(?|x|xx|xxx|xxxx|xxxxx|xxxxxx):},{existing value}

Purchased this from Amazon two weeks ago and am 100 percent satisfied. No complaints. Easy to set up and great with Google Voice. Well worth it, even at $40.

Repped, will take a look. My SP2 is the Aveno...or whatever E911 service. I haven't received any spam calls but have only been using the rig for a about a week.

From looking over the thread....my Obi is NOT in the DMZ, so I "should" be good. My firewall will block SIP traffic except by my providers...we'll see.
