Thread Details

This is the latest sound bar system from Vizio with bulit-in bluetooth feature..very highly rated in CNET and other consumer research forums. If you do not have a costco membership, you can try price matching with Amazon or Best Buy, which sells it for $329, or, it is still cheaper for you to get a costco membership for $50 and then get this sound bar as well! This is a great deal in my opinion for a true 5.1 surround home theater sound bar system.

I just bought one of these from Costco @ 280. Is it worth the call to see if I can get an adjustment?
The same deal is also in this month's coupon booklet. You should get price adjustment. Or return, then buy again.

I got this yesterday. The set up is very easy. Took about 20 mins. The sound bar and sub woofer are already linked. The 2 satellite speakers connect to the SW so not totally wireless. The sound quality is awesome. I like the remote too. not too many buttons trying to do everything.

I got this yesterday as well, not too much sound comes out the rear speakers but I think I just need to play with the balance settings. My main gripe is that it doesn't work with my directv remote, tried Vizio customer service and they confirmed it... not sure if that will bug me enough to return it yet though

I got it yesterday, too. Very simple set up. Wish it had two coax audio connections as neither my TV or blu-ray player have optical.

Even without messing with the rear sou d level, though, I got plenty of sound. I have the rears pointed at me at a 45 degree angle and about 5-ft away from me on one side and 10-ft away on the other side.

This appears to be a great little system for a rec room or bedroom. Punchy little sub even at low volume and nice sound coming from center.

Bluetooth pairing was simple, simple, simple.

I also saw the Samsung at Costco also with an instant $50 off. I bought that samsung before and I think the Vizio blows it away even without the rears.

So far, so good for me. I have an older jvc th-ba1 4.1 system in the living room and have had true 5.1 systems before. At ow-to-moderate volume this sounds really good. The sub is boomy so be sure to place it someplace other than right next to you and you'll be pleased, I think. I haven't cranked it, so I don't know, yet, if the sub will bottom out and rattle like the Samsung that Costco also sells did.

Thanks. Thinking of picking this up to hook the ps3 and tv into. Never bought any Vizio stuff.

Never mind. Won't work. Sound bar doesn't have hdmi inputs and my tv will only output 2ch via non-HDMI. Ughhh.

Best Buy price matched! Great solution for a second home theater. Wires are minimal, and sound is pretty solid for the price.

Amazon has it for $228 now as well, if you're a Prime member.
