Nordstrom's SmartCare men's dress shirts are the best In the market at $32.90 they are a great deal; the next markdown might take them even lower; I buy all my dress shirts in day one of the sale before sizes run out then wait for the next markdown (if it comes) and take my receipt in for a price adjustment/refund. Heckl of a deal; I've worn Strafford, BR and other "top line" wrinkle free dress shirts and none compare to Nordy's SmartCare line; several are still going strong after 3-4 years of bi-weekly wear and laundering at the dry cleaners; definite worth it if you wear dress shirts to work everyday.
Good time to load up on dress shirts, I've been generally pleased with the quality of Nordstrom's dress shirts, and at around $33 a pop for their standard line, it's a solid deal.

I tried Nordstrom Rack twice, and I won't do it again. They have a lot of clothes that have OK department-store names, but it's only the worst pieces that end up at Rack. They also have tons of off-bran or even Rack branded clothing that does not fit well, and as a result looks terrible when worn. In my opinion, it's a better investment to buy one high quality shirt/pants than 3 that don't fit and fall apart.
Highly recommend Nordstrom proper. My wife and I visit Nordstrom to buy lots of clothing/shoes for ourselves and children, and she buys a lot of handbags and accessories as well. They truly stand behind everything they sell. She had a higher-end handbag for over a year, probably used it 3-4 days during that time, and the finish was starting to wear. She brought it back to the store, and they took it back without question. Awesome customer service, and well worth the price premium.
The Rack, like a lot of the outlet stores (BR, J. crew and others) started making more outlet specific clothes around 2007-2008 and now the deals on their clothes are trash because the clothes are trash; BR outlet is about unshoppable and you can get better prices on the real deal by waiting for a 50% code to *cough* appear on SD *cough* *cough cookie editor cough*. Same with Nordstrom Rack; the jeans for example are made in different countries depending on what store they are for; case in point, 7FAM jeans which are made in the USA go to the main Nordstorm and retail for $159-$189 but can be had for $89-$139 on sale (if that's not your cup of tea I understand); at the Rack the 7FAM jeans in the piles are primarily made in Mexico and are of substantially lower quality yet are "deal" priced at $99.......places like the Rack, Filene's Basement and the outlets jumped the shared and you're better off shopping sales at retail stores than driving to BFE to some outlet mall full of D grade clothing with A brand labels.
