Thanks for posting. I am looking for a queen mattress and Costco is my preferred retailer right now, so this post is very relevant to me.

You stated the original price is $499. However, the website's price is $599. Is Costco.com generally more expensive than Costco B&M stores for mattresses?

Thanks,
Tofu Vic

Good price, but 3.5lb density is really low. This will be quite soft

Yes, I think so, normally by $100.

They don't carry the exact same product, Costco.com has more variety and better density foam

grrr. i bought this mattress in April. i wish i had the receipt so i could re-buy and return.

It is a really good mattress not too firm or too soft and does not get too warm either.

I was just answering the question from Tofu vic, I didn't say I saw the same product in my local store. I think this 14" one or something really similar was talked about some weeks ago, a costco.com deal, and I was looking at the local store because it'll be even cheaper if I can find at a store.

Hey Tofu,

Yea the same items are more expensive online because the price includes shipping. Some items like a regular spring mattress can't be picked up by most people so it's better to order it online, but these foam mattresses are compressed and packed in a box that can fit in alot of vehicles.

That makes perfect sense.

I actually purchased an Astoria 12" Queen Memory Foam Mattress (Item# 684997) for $599.99 (regular price was $749.99) recently from Costco.com, but it's a bit too firm, so I'm looking for a different mattress.

Has anyone else verified this other than OP's location? I was actually planning on picking this up in a few hours and -$150 would be so wonderful!!! When I went to purchase on Saturday, it was still listed as $499 and it's not listed in the current coupon book. Does anyone know if Costco does reductions like this during the week?
I would call to check my CA location however I'm at work for next couple of hours.

UPDATE: I just called my store and after she told me the price was $499 I explained a friend just bought one in another state for -$150 and she said, oh yes it is the same here!! WOO HOO This made my day.

I bought a 12 inch novaform a few weeks ago online for 370. Still in box. I might lug it back and get the 14 inch. Model is gone from costco.com so I have no idea on it's specs.

I'm in the same boat, just returned a mattress to costco.com because it sagged in the middle, at $350 i'll give this one a try. Strange though, the discount doesn't show online which it normally does.
