you are going to spend $400 on a PS4, but your TV budget is only $100?

That seems a little odd.

I'd check out craigslist. Heck I'd be willing to sell my old 37" 720p lcd for $100... I am sure there are lots of similar deals out there. If you want a NEW tv... you will probably have to settle for a 22" lcd or something similar. You can also look at some low end computer monitors with hdmi. You MIGHT be able to find one for $100... but probably 19-22"

My advice... buy a $400 tv today... you can get a 50" 1080p for $400... then work/save up the extra $300 until xmas when the PS4 comes out...

Ps4 games are expensive even if it cheaper to develop games on an x86 console.

If your limit is strictly $100, try Ebay or Craigslist. I recently purchased a refurb Curtis 23" 1080p/60Hz with 2 hdmi inputs for $106 off Ebay. Not a great tv but it's a bedroom tv for my 2 year old. But I really agree with mizary. Why spend all that money for a ps4 and not have a nice tv to play it on. You say the ps4 wont suport your current setup, perhaps there is a inexpensive workaround? Save your funds and get a decent tv.

If the OP old tv supports comp. input, he can get hdmi to comp. convertor for around $100+. Neither the 480p and 24 in hdtv are great gameplay display for such a kick ass console. An 32 inch 720p should be the bare min. size.

Wally World:

I keep seeing a 19" LCD in store for $98. Pretty sure this is it: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Curtis-...B/17327942

Add $10 to your budget and move up to one of these:

I bought this at xmas time for my kitchen - it's decent:
