Could use an inexpensive Hauppauge for transferring video tapes, but this has no aux in, so can't use.
works great, thanks for the tip. now to make sure I turn in the rebate. there was only one left at my store
Hey if you or anyone else that bought one thinks about it down the road could you PM how this unit works/worked?
I am particularly interested in the ATSC M/H (mobile) side of things. It was very new to me reading about it.
I am used to NTSC (old) & ATSC / CLEAR QAM (open) but I can't yet grasp how well this mobile ATSC is going to work.
I read through ALL the reviews on Amazon & Neweegg; it does NOT sound like a stable hardware product. USUALLY, the problems with these devices lies in AWFUL software support/issues\bugs but in this case it seems that it's a matter of keeping the devices (hardware) alive more than anything else.
As an alternative if you missed out & DON'T NEED the ATSC M/H but would like the ATSC (O.T.A.), or CLEAR QAM (open) - and/or even have legacy NTSC --> VCR/DVD equipment you want to watch / convert than the ATI HD 750 USB on sale for $39.99 - $15 MIR = $24.99 AR might be a better fit for you http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...isNodeId=1
