Been searching for a Weber grill deal since I missed the AJ Madison deal a few weeks back. Ran into this today, I believe its a glitch on Meijer.com system since Weber is typically excluded from any promotion.

Your post made me call Lowes about our delivery. I asked the customer service rep if it was on schedule and she said that will always call 24 hours before delivering the grill. Since they haven't call today, I asked when it might arrive. The lady called my local store and found out it hasn't arrived there yet. She said it might come to the store tonight or tomorrow so don't expect it any sooner than Friday. They really have a poor system to track your order.

After seeing all your posts, I called Lowes today to find out my order status and was told the store didn't even place my order from the distribution center. I would have to wait for another 5-6 business days. Anyway, I asked to change to another color that's already in stock. I should be getting my grill by this weekends, hopefully.

Received automated delivery message last night that the grill will be delivered on Thursday between 7pm-9pm. This morning I get a 7:00am phone call from my local Lowes that they don't have it yet. The guy can't even look up the status to find when it might arrive. Terrible shipping communication between distribution center and local stores. I'm not getting it assembled so I don't know why they just can't deliver it directly to my house and avoid the local store.

It's nice they called in the morning - they told me I needed to be home and I switched up my schedule and it didn't arrive. Such a waste of time! Definitely stay on top of this and call again...I called multiple times and they all confirmed it would arrive on July 9th but it didn't!

I called 3pd (the lowes scheduling company) last night around 9pm. They were supposed to call me to confirm delivery but by the time 9pm rolled around I was getting restless. They confirmed for me that the grill would be delivered but do to the high volume of deliveries for 3pd, my lowes store would be delivering it themselves.
I called my lowes store - they gave generic answer that 3pd would be calling me. I let them know I already tried that route and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was able to look up the order and show that it would be delivered today -- but it took many calls before that happened and I don't know if they were planning on letting me know.

Good news is that my grill arrived, safe and sound, on my doorstep today. They also called this morning and told me it was on it's way and since I wasn't home when they were there, they called to confirm they dropped off the grill. That was the first smooth, easy experience I've had with lowes so far with the grill delivery!

They didn't leave a receipt, which they said they would, so that I could get the movers coupon applied, so I contacted the store AGAIN. Head cashier emailed me a copy of the "receipt", which looks exactly like the one that was sent to me in my email the day I made the phone purchase. Not trusting that receipt, I called to confirm they would accept it and they said they would. Now, I'm going there after work and getting this all fixed, once and for all....I hope Smilie

Dont meant to bog down the thread with details but a) it's cathartic to get all this crap out since lowes doesn't seem to care b) maybe someone else is going through it too and some of the info will help.

happy grilling...maybe? I still need a gas tank!

Did you have the grill assembled by Lowes? So, they just leave that at your doorstep? He said he couldn't give me a time yet since the delivery team has to change around the schedule!? Anyway, I told him to call ahead coz we can't be home all day to wait. At least give us a few hours time frame. That's after the store failed to order my grill from the distribution center and I asked them to switch to a different color which is already in stock. Otherwise, I won't be able to see my grill for another 2 weeks. By that time, summer is almost over!

Yes, my grill was assembled by Lowes. I haven't seen it yet but my husband said it definitely arrived assembled. Some people said I shouldn't have had them assemble it but I didn't even think about it when I agreed to it, so I'm taking my chances. Hopefully it's ok!

Originally, when I placed the order, I was told I had to be home for the delivery. Then, when speaking with my local lowes store that was assembling/delivering the grill, they said I did not need to be there and they would call me the night before. When I spoke with them last night I asked that they leave it on our back porch. The lowes store called me before and after the delivery to confirm they left it on the porch.

If you trust them to leave the grill at your house and you aren't worried anyone will take it - you might consider calling and seeing if you need to be there. My area is remote and the porch is in the back of the house, so I wasn't worried about anyone stealing it. My only concern was that I wasn't there to confirm it was the right grill or it was assembled correctly - I guess I'll see when I get there!

Good luck!! Let's hope they call you with a heads up! They told me they usually call between 7 and 9pm. Both times they called it was 9-9:15pm.

Just an update: they didn't leave a receipt, as promised, when they dropped off the grill. I called the store and they scanned one in and emailed. I brought it, along with the 10% movers coupon to the store. They applied it immediately, no questions asked. The cashier said "oh yea, they can't deliver that to your door, so you have to do it here". He said no problem and told someone to get me a tank. I was waiting for a few minutes while they finished up with someone else. I finally got the tank, filled, for free. I was psyched. Just as I was leaving, a busybody manager (actually, he was just doing his job but he realized the cashier's mistake so I'm calling him a busybody) ran out and asked to see my receipt.
Damn. It all took some time b/c the whole history of delivery, price match, purchase, movers coupons WAS kinda confusing..anyway, in the end he said they were supposed to give me a free tank and make me pay for the gas (it would have been $30)...but "for my troubles" he said he would just charge me for a refill, not first time fill.
I didn't fight it. $17 for a new full tank of gas, I don't mind!

Following day, called the asst. manager, to follow up on 10% off promised due to 2 missed deliveries. He applied it. I checked my account today - I recieved $53.52 credit (movers coupon) and $48.16 (from asst. manager).

Ended up being super slick deal
$700 down to $433 OTD. Add $17 for propane tank and it was $450 for genesis grill plus full tank. Still waiting on $100 lowes gift card from delivery company for changing the delivery date. Should be here this week.

Thanks OP and all who helped. I went through and repped. This was an amazing deal for me since we just moved and really didn't want to spend much money on a grill. We were able to get a great one at an awesome price...thank youooooo!

Update, we are still waiting on our grill! I had my wife call on Tuesday for an update since it was suppose to be delivered on the previous Thursday. The manager on duty could not find the order and had to reorder. She gave him hell and he said he would take care of us with a discount. Not sure when it will it come in and neither did the manager.

I ended up getting the E330 because the E310 that I ordered didn't come in on the date that I expected. The store manager on duty gave me all the same discounts that I received on my E310 order.

10% movers coupon = $503.40 before tax.

I use my grill about 6 days a week.

Great deal! We ended up getting the E310 NG grill for $466 after tax. It took a month for us to receive the grill and the manager ended up giving us 25% off the discounted price. Lowes is really screwed up with their online orders. We never did receive an invoice so they mailed us a copy. The copy doesn't look a normal receipt, just shows the adjustment.
