I like how it's called SteelSeries and it's cloth. And really this is $2 off a $10 cloth mousepad, how is this a deal? I have an actual SteelSeries that's metal that I got about 7 years ago and still in great shape. I'd never own a cloth one at least for my desktop ever again.
Steelseries is a brand. You mean to tell me Ford Mustangs aren't made of real horses?! How absurd!
My mousepad has puppies on it. I stole it from my mom. I know it isn't a Steelseries mousepad but I jailbroke it and loaded a new kernal of Pintobean on it so it can use 2 mouses at once on it. I then overclocked it to 3.6 mouse-hertz and it's been stable for weeks. I read online that you can shut down some background apps and get more mousepad power out of it.
Aren't mousepads something that was invented to facilitate better tracking with the tracking ball in old school mice? Sometimes your desk was too smooth so you used a mousepad to get better traction. Are you guys using trackball/optical/laser? I've never found anything smoother or faster than my desk top. I used to worry about wearing out the wood on my desk and maybe needing a mousepad for that, but so far after many years have not had that happen. Not saying this is a bad deal or anything just wondering with today's mice what purpose people are using these for other than nostalgia?
