Has anyone used the canvas one? I've gotten canvas painting tarps and all have let paint through.

The canvas would be great for painters who do not spill. Either way, the tarp and canvas are dirt cheap.... hell of a deal!

Damn it SD! I bought two of each figuring I can always return to the store down the street.

I was thinking of using it for paint protection, but the user review says that the canvas allowed the paint to leak through. And another reviewer says she paid $1.68 for each.
Guess HD is a sponsor now so every sale is FP

Another site sold out to the man

LOL, when I saw this in my email this morning, I just KNEW that the mods' "home depot tarp fetish" would make go to the SD FP with a bullet -- and I was right!

I don't get it, but apparently 28 people do.

I saw the $1.68 review too. Why is it a deal doesn't look as good when you know someone got an even better deal?! nod

Argh...now I'm wanting one of those too! hmm...maybe I'll try to make one this week while I'm off. drool
I wasn't adventurous enough to make one. I bought a couple sizes on one of those daily deal sites, but even then they were pricey. Would be nice to find a cheaper version because they are actually quite handy and I would buy more!

It probably isn't exactly 6 x 9. When TVs are advertised, they often say something like 60" class TV, but the actual diagonal measurements are 59.5".

Based on the sq ft, it's probably 5'9" x 8'9". You'd loose 3" on each dimension.

That is exactly correct. The cloths are 5.75' x 8.75'.

Also, remember that the cloths become more impermeable, as more paint is spilled and dried.

They are 6x9 before they fold the material and double sew the edges, just like the cheap plastic tarps. It usually will say finished size.

Some of us can't afford 3" Embarrassment

Thanks, the canvas ones look nice...I would use those for painting to put over furniture and stuff to protect from splattering...the poly tarps are to light and move too much...

on second thought..none in stock near me and they want 43.99 shipping!!
