Newegg rebates disappearing when I check my rebate status...

Has anyone else had this problem? I have quite a few rebates out at Newegg. Recently when I went to check on the status of some rebates from April they were no longer showing in my rebate records. Luckily I have saved scans of these rebates. When I manually enter a tracking number the rebate then shows up. Does Newegg only allow so many rebates to show up on the rebate records page and then starts removing the older ones to make room for the newer submissions? Weird.

Check your rebates from newegg at status-now.com
newegg only displays so many, but the website i mentioned above will display all of them

Status-now doesn't display all of them. If you have too many, all of them won't show up. Many of mine have disappeared from status-now as well (or they will appear sometimes).

Thanks for the info from you both. It seems in my case status-now.com shows quite a few of the missing rebates (didn't bother to check them all) but lacks the recent online submissions that haven't been received in the mail by the rebate processing house.

Do what I did, go through your backlog of emails and dig for each items tracking number and put it all in notepad so you can copy paste each tracking # to see their status

btw just got the giftcard for the "Inland Black Sleeve" from April today

When I phoned Newegg today as directed in their Feb 28 email, I was told that a UPS bar code was sent instead of the UPC product code. That is ridiculous. My husband located the box and the UPS Code is missing because it was sent in December as directed, all of the required documentation specified on the rebate form was attached as directed in their December 13, 2013 email. We have fulfilled all of our requirements and are still waiting for our $50 rebate.

Because of the numerous times I have had rebates become 'lost' I scan everything including the envelope just before mailing and save it as a PDF. I then can easily reprint or e-mail the form, receipt, UPC, etc. if there is ever a question. I have only had one time where the rebate was denied when I provided all of this. If it is a bigger rebate I recommend using some form of tracking so you can prove something from you arrived, though they can still deny the correct items were in the envelope.
