I appreciate the OP posting a deal thread. However, regardless of the Paula Deen controversy, these are not good prices.
There are a few cookware items that I could use in the kitchen, so I'm still waiting for an actual liquidation or firesale of Paula Deen products. My prediction is that major retailers will be doing more of these sales - by "sales," I mean somewhat discounted prices - before they drop the prices on Paula Deen products significantly.
I think it's a bad deal for two reasons: it starts out as cheap cookware, then they added the Paula Deen name and inflated the price. Now you're getting a "deal" on cookware that's now priced at what it probably should have been in the first place. This is Wal-Mart junk.
For that matter, can anyone name a cooking product with a celebrity chef's name attached to it that's any good?
