Costco has the Seagate Backup Plus 3TB Desktop External Hard Drive for $99.99 + Tax (if applicable).

http://www.costco.com/Seagate-Bac...07783.html

You can order online or go instore and buy it. Valid until 8/4/13.

Pretty good deal considering USB 3.0 enclosures are spendy.

Poor reviews on Costco's site but better (4.0/5) reviews on Amazon [amazon.com], which is selling it for $120.

124 Negatives on Amazon, read them first, as always!

That is a good price for a USB 3.0, 3TB drive with a 2 year warranty.

I am not going to get it as I have plenty from past deals, but note Amex gives additional year of Warranty making it a total of 3 years.

as do many Visas and Mcards

while nice to have I wonder how many people ever have a hard drive fail after the warranty is up?

Plenty, hard drives have a finite life span. I would say you have to replace a hard drive after 5-8 years on average.

The following must be returned within 90 days of purchase for a refund: televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, touch screen tablets, MP3 players and cellular phones.

aah i see hard drives aren't specifically listed. i assumed it would fit under computers or something

lol not sure if i can take it back after 4 or 5 years or more. would feel embarassed or something
