Can someone confirm that in an A frame, this would be equivalent to at least an 8' ladder? I'm thinking it should since it's 19' but just needed confirmation from someone who owns this.

so this is not a slickdeal? This is the a cheapo version
I don't think it's as slick as the price they have on their website. It's seems to be a decent deal though. I'm no ladder expert though.

Costco only has the M17: http://www.costco.com/Little-Gian...81334.html

I bought one a while back and will be returning it when this M22 comes in.
Classic. I love you guys who use Costco as your rental store. Used to really chap me when people would buy a 50" TV and then "return it" 2 years later to buy a new one. At least Costco stopped that dumb business practice.

I confirm it's an M17 as well. Although, I have not seen a need for a bigger ladder, this is mighty heavy and is rated for 300lbs
The "need" is always based on how high you're trying to go! If you live in a single story you're golden. If your gutters are 20.5 feet off the ground like mine, then a 15' actual length LG ladder means that I have a "need for a bigger ladder"

I think you can Google this but if memory serves, the Werner MT-22 goes to 9 foot max height in stepladder mode. I assume the LG 22 is the same since all these ladders are basically clones of each other now.

I have a 2 story house but that going up beyond the height of my current level is beyond my comfort level and I would rather pay someone to clean the gutters that high.

Sorry for the mis-info. I wanted to buy it, but it was almost half the price of the ladder. The leg extension was a good deal, I've gotten a lot of use from that.
