so it just started doing this when you connected the hd tuner? how long have you had it? has it had this problem before you had the tuner connected? have you tried removing the tuner to see if it keeps occurring?

try removing the tuner to see if the tv acts fine. is it possible to connect the tuner to another television (it might be the tuner causing problems or it might have an option/setting that turns the tv off).

try calling it in to olevia's support to see what they say. i've read that some people have this issue with their olevia tv's and have had to get it replaced (but it happens without the tuner so idk)

I think he means the "sleep" function. Typically you can have the TV shut itself off after a certain amount of inactivity.

i solved it, it was the settings on my tuner. i had it at 1080i, 720p, and 420i( whatever it is here lol) but i had to take off 1080i and my tv is perfectly fine.
