Ebay daily deal Refurb $159.99 FS- Samsung S27B350H 27" LED LCD Full HD Monitor 1080p HDMI 2ms Response
Link here. [ebay.com]Having searched to see if this had been posted already, I am aware that this particular item has not been well received when deals were posted in the past. At the risk of some TDs, I will post what I think is a very good deal. With that being said, when Costco sold it new last October for $269 with a $50 rebate, it got a very good response. Amazon reviews are generally very good except for a common issue that a lot of people seem to have which is a flicker that happens after coming out of sleep that can only be resolved by cycling the power to the monitor or disconnecting the computer connection and reconnecting. Since these are refurbs, in theory they should have been repaired and individually tested to ensure that this is not an issue. Obviously with refurbs YMMV. The reviewers on Amazon that didn't have the flicker issue seemed to LOVE them. $159 for a 27" LED monitor is a very good deal assuming no issues.
I have one from the Last Oct sale and have been very happy with it. Like it better than the my other monitors - P2770HD and the Asus PE278Q. Never had any experience with the Flicker issue.
But this being a refurbished, not sure if I would take a chance. You might get lucky and get a good store return or you might get a lemon. In general I am wary of Refurbished monitors and personally won't get one unless someone gives me an extended warranty.
can anyone tell me if this monitor is worth getting?
I have seen this monitor in person and I can tell you that NO it is not good for this price and it is not a good monitor. They have SO MANY of these on sale on Ebay all the time. I recommend getting a better 27 inch 1080p monitor and saving yourself the upgrade cost because you won't be happy with this.
i bought this from 1saleaday back in sept or october fro $185 from sdeals post...flickered within 3 months...if you have it on the full LED brightness it does it, and you have to toggle it to the other setting to get it to not flash, you can toggle it back to the LED and it will work without flashing as long as the monitor is on, once you turn it off and then back on again, it will flash...i learned to just use it without the bright setting..someone PM'ed me and said i could just mail it back to samsung and they will send you a prepaid label, but i didn't wanna go through that hassle
