Just bought myself a blendtec, neither of these blenders go on sale for more than a few bucks but since I'm wicked smart I found a decent deal.
  1. Sign up for their mailing list Here [bedbathandbeyond.com]
  2. Print the coupon they email you or bring your smartphone so you can pull it up in-store.
  3. If they don't have the blender you want in stock they can order it online to your house (shipping will be around $22)
It seems like they almost always have the Vitamix in stock but if your looking for the Blendtec chances are your gonna have to pay extra and get it shipped to you. Due to their weird policy you gotta show up in store for them to honor the 20% off even if you're just having them order the Blendtec online.

Prices after coupon before tax on the entry level models:
$319.99 Blendtec TB-621-20 Total Blender [bedbathandbeyond.com]
Lowest ever on CamelCamelCamel is $359

$287.99 Vitamix 1782 TurboBlend, 2 Speed [urlhasbeenblocked]
Lowest ever on CamelCamelCamel is $351

Edit: As some smarmy little marvin mentioned below the fine print specifies the coupon doesn't work with the vitamix.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Vitamix is an excluded item in the 20% coupon usage terms and conditions

It really just depends on which store you go to, and what employee you get. I got someone to give me the Breville espresso maker with 20% off ($120 savings) even though Breville was excluded. I then got them to price match the Breville toaster oven to a discounted price and then apply the 20% off coupon (1, Breville is excluded, and 2, headquarters told me that they can't apply store coupons to price matched items). This resulted in a $110 savings. If you're dressed well, speak nicely, and act like you know what you're doing, I think you can usually get away with stuff. So, anyway, this deal is nothing new, but congrats on your savings!

Not really... There were plenty of refurbished/reconditioned deals if you are OK with the absence of colorful box and the same 1-year warranty, and brand new look and feel. Just the first page of searching SD brings the following past deals (an indication that they are repeating more often than not):
And finally, Costco recently had (and many stores still do) the Blendtec TotalBlender and Wildside Jar for $299. The Costco generous return policy more than makes up for 2% difference between OP coupon and Costco OOD price.

Kind of bold assertion considering that the coupon excludes Vitamix and to order Blendtec you pay shipping which negates the coupon. Running from store to store to meet that oblivious cashier brings additional expense of gas and frustration. And that minimum-wage cashier runs a chance to get fired for violating the coupon terms. Does it feel ethical to you?

I got a refurb Vitamix Creations Elite a few weeks ago for around $400. Love it. Use it almost daily. There are some notification sites when the refurb site gets them in stock. It's usually around 10am EST, mine was on a Monday.

FWIW, it was worth the extra $80 or so to fit under my cabinets. Not having to take it out and put it away all the time means it gets used more.

Settle down groucho, the coupon knocks $80 off the price whereas shipping runs you $22. Plus I'm sure the clerk would waive the shipping fee for someone as pleasant as you.

Dude, just do your homework before posting the crappy deal. Better for yourself - better for the community.

Can you please tell us which 'notification sites' you are referring to? thanks!

I agree with sleepybubba... but in 'wicked smart' cases like this, that is why we give the thumbs down ;-)
