Amazing camera. I have one--upgraded from K-x--and it's everything I need in a dslr. Small enough, robust, great sensor, weather resistance, in body anti-shake system, bright pentaprism viewfinder, fast and accurate AF, takes both AA and proprietary batteries, electronic level, lens fine adjustment, lens correction (jpeg), etc... all of these features, and more, for $530? A steal!
I have a k5iis but bought a k30 because it has focus peaking which is very handy for manual focus lenses, particularly lenses that have a faster aperture than 2.0. It's a great camera - it focuses fast, it has an awesome sensor that is good for high iso shooting, and the ergonomics are typical Pentax which is to say great.
It's priced like an entry level, but as the other poster mentioned, it has very advanced features like a pentaprism viewfinder (which is much brighter than a pentamirror), the viewfinder is large compared to it's Nikon counterparts, it has 2 wheels for making fast changes to the settings so you get the shot that you want, it has reliable weather sealing that allows me to photograph things without fear of ruining my camera (a WR lens is recommended), and what you see in the viewfinder is what your image will look like because it has a 100% viewfinder - many other cameras at this price point will have 96% viewfinders which means when you carefully frame your image to not have powerlines in the photo, they may appear anyway because what you see is not what you get.
The only reason this camera is so low price wise is that a new camera has been released, the k50, which has pretty much the same features as the k30. Take advantage of clearance sales when you can especially when you're not missing out on anything with the new model.

Reason: extra info
I mean still a phenomenal value for a great camera. It just doesn't come with the WR lens (according to the Q&A section) for some odd and unfortunate reason. I'm debating it just for the weather sealing and I'm a Nikon user.
What s/he said. Earlier purchasers seem to have gotten their cameras and buying the K-30 with the WR lens for less than the non-WR lens is a no-brainer.
I bought the K-30 with the 18-55WR lens for $600AR on an eBay deal from an authorized dealer last year and thought it was a great deal. I upgraded reluctantly from a K100d Super and have to say that, while I wasn't happy spending $600 (very annoying to see Canikon refurbs going for 1/2-2/3 that price), I have not had any buyer's regret - the K-30 is a great camera and I am using it far more than my old one.
+1 on the Hunts deal. in stock. they shipped to me the next day and arrived quickly. product was new and hunts is authorized retailer (warranty). sold my WR 18-55 for $120.. way better deal than this buydig one. on another note: there is a overstock deal floating around for the k5 ii and 18-135. avoid anything from overstock.com. they are not fulfilling orders even after charging and shipping half empty kits!
