They are also made in China now. There is a nice big "made in china" print on the inside of them now instead of made in Italy. Not sure of the quality difference though. A friend of mine happened to have identical sunglasses, but made in Italy. His looked 100% identical to mine except for the label.

Under the "Condition of Use" tab, it says: "There the parties fail to settle dispute within 30 days after such dispute occurs, they agree to submit such dispute to China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for arbitration . . . . "

Hmm. If there is a dispute over a $19.99 pair of sunglasses, I have to go to China?

Chinese Ray-Bans = FAKE Ray-Bans.

No, they are actually made in China now. Sad as it is...

I would hate to have sunglasses that said they had UV protection in the lenses, but did not and the dark lenses were dilating my pupils anyway while letting all those damaging UV A and B rays come right in.

Real Ray-Bans are indeed made in China now. However, that does not imply that all Chinese-made "Ray-Bans" are real.

How can that be?
I bought Ray-Ban double gradients in 1969 for $40.
That's like $400, in today's money.

They are 20 dollars.. Of course they are fake.. But likely no one will notice the difference. They are probably the same thing you get in the shops in Tijuana for 10 bucks. If they break buy another pair at that price. No idea on the retailer trustworthyness though..

It is not about fake and legit product right now but if seller is legit or scam artist
