So, in an attempt at keeping our discussion going about the ways in which we are trying to eat healthier/lose weight and be more active in our lives. I thought it would be nice to have a specific thread dedicating to encouraging and sharing tips and ideas for those of us yearning for a more active lifestyle.

We all may have differing opinions on games, consoles, and Curtie's analogies, however I think most of us can agree on the need for a more healthier lifestyle!

Good idea for a thread - this topic seems to come up every month or so.

Also, this isn't an *official* thread so I'm not sure how much weight it carries.

But...........We have taken a good 5-6 threads WAYYYYY off topic with diet talk this year, we have to stop that?

Dieting is like Baseball, it is more fun when there is beer involved.

Ok so that has been updated! lol

So for my workout routine it has made it easier that I also have a gym at work. I normally stagger my workout days with 1 day being for cardio and the next day being for weight training and I keep alternating days and will normally use Sunday for my chill/relax day.

I used to ride the exercise bike while playing gears of war. But that leads to a very sore butt.

I had an exercise bike setup so I could game at the same time, but I got super dizzy and never did it again.

Achievements are not for the meek, it is better to forfeit inheritance of the earth so that the mighty may look upon my gamerscore, and despair. Achievements are for men who dream; men who dare; men who achieve! Men who carve out entire galaxies with nothing more than nimble cheetos-dusted fingers and their wits, and in our leisurely twilight days we shall sit by softly flickering fires with our descendants recounting the tales of these unimaginable glories.

Almond milk, whey protein, and some fruit, and you're good to go.
Is regular milk bad for you or something? Or is almond milk just better? I have been hearing a lot about almond/soy/coconut milk lately. I normally use fat-free milk.

almond milk helps with reducing cholesterol and is overall healthier than regular milk. Has less calories and carbs too!

It was actually the perfect game because I usually died pretty fast and could pedal harder while spectating. Not that I tried to die but I did a lot (as you know laugh out loud)
