I bought H520 last time and I returned it.

The main reason is the PSU. it is only 280W. so although there is one PCI-e X16 and three PCXI-3 1x slots, you can barely put any video card in it.
and the integreted video 2500 with the CPU is very weak.

The case is not as strong as Dells. Dells case is very thick and quite.
The one is not.

Worked fine for me. Make sure you are using the online/phone coupon and not the in store one. Total $318.74 at final checkout page.

Even a 280W power supply could still handle putting another 150W towards a video card which while not covering higher end cards will still allow for low to mid range. Also a 400W+ power supply can run ~$20 with regular deals here AR. Switching out power supplies is super easy and there really should be no expectation for a machine like this to come with a bigger power supply, there is no need.

Also, the word is quiet, for your benefit.

In for one of the Lenovo H535 Desktops. I'm not sure if I'll keep it, but I figured it would likely sell out by the time I made a decision. Now I have time to consider it, and can return it to my local Staples if I decide that it's not for me (or if my wife vetos the purchase).

Thanks OP - Repped.

If I put in a nice dedicated GFX card into the H535 would that be able to run any of the games on the market today? Thanks!!

The PSU is not easy to change. because it has a metal clip on the case to hold in in place.
so you can only use a standard smaller PSU, any large PSU will not fit.
(Higher power PSU is longer)

sorry about the typo. this is internet not business email. so I don't read waht I typed again. Smilie

Great, now since both the deals are back, I guess I should ask this one major question:

If we ignore the price and RAM difference, which system is better? H520 or H535?

One more question: in the previous deals I was only able to grab the H535, now suppose I want an H520 instead, can I still return the H535 at this point (> 2 weeks have passed, but the system package was never opened). I am just not so sure about the Staples PC return / re-stock refund policy.

Thank you for any input!

Staples return policy for technology is 14 days--I just tried to return a router that was a little past the return date and they wouldn't budge.
