Gave in and bought Skyrim. Was hoping I'd see it for $10, but this is close enough. Kind of lame that you have to download the GameFly client just to get a Steam product key though.
I didn't have to install the Gamefly client. Just clicked my order number in my Gamefly order history and the Steam key was there.

Stupid question: If you have skyrim already is there a way to get whatever the expansions are separately?
Absolutely, the 3 expansion DLC's in Telosia's post below give you the equivalent of Skyrim Legendary.

For those who already have the base game, Skyrim DLC's are also on sale:

Dawnguard - $9.99 http://www.gamefly.com/Download-T...C/5004487/

Dragonborn - $9.99 http://www.gamefly.com/Download-T...C/5005400/

Hearthfire - $2.49 http://www.gamefly.com/Download-T...C/5004821/

Possibly cheaper with 20% off code

Skyrim discounts are all fine and dandy, but are the DLCs getting any cheaper? I bought Skyrim @ $25 :\ (Given the 20% off this is the cheapest DLC price I've seen so far..)
I've seen the DLC's for 50% off twice before, but this is the first time where I see you get an extra 20% off on top of that and I have watched these closely.
Here's what you'd paid using the promo code today at gamefly:
Dawnguard $9.99 $7.99
Dragonborn $9.99 $7.99
Hearthfire $2.49 $1.99

But, yes, this is officially the first time ever that the DLC's have gone below 50% off(lowest price to date) and I'm almost tempted to grab Dragonborn but judging by the trend I'm hoping that it will get a full 70% off(maybe even 75%) by year end which would make it $5.99. Since my backlog is so big, and the extra content can be played even after you've started the basic game I'm probably going to hold off. I only paid $7 for the Skyrim game ($27 on Amazon - a $20 game promo) it's hard for me anyway to justify paying more for the individual DLCs than I paid for the full game.

Should I get this now or wait for Skyrim Legendary Edition to get cheaper around BF or the Steam Winter Sale? I already got Morrowind GOTY and Oblivion GOTY editions and loved playing both of them.

I disagree. They are all good, but every iteration of this series has gotten better in almost every conceivable way. With a metric ton of overhaul mods you can still enjoy oblivion or even morrowind (rebirth) without the normal "this is ugly" slap in the face, but it still isn't as good of a game.

I think they made a lot of changes to increase mass appeal in Oblivion and Skyrim that kind of kills the experience compared to what it was in Morrowind. But to each his own.

Sigh... Oblivion GOTY Deluxe DOES NOT activate on steam. Incredibly lame.

Looks like the code works for skyrim DLCs (normally they are excluded)

It all depends on how cheap you are - $30 is an absolutely just price for the amount of content on hand, but it might drop to $25 around BF. Your call, but I don't know how you've managed to put off the Fus Ro Dah fun for this long...

Don't forget Skywind and Morroblivion, guys. You will need Morrowind and whatever else to play.

Because my job is temporary and making money is quite hard for me with all the bills I owe. Plus I even I have to save to upgrade my PC desktop every 5 years or longer.

I'll just give you the advice other people give me. Don't buy a game just because the price looks good if you really don't plan on playing it right away. Prices won't go up only down. Consider your backlog and the time you have to invest in an RPG.

What are people's opinions of the DLCs? It's been a while since they've come out so I don't remember if they're any good.

*Edit* What is the point of hearthfire? Aren't there mods that will do most of that for you?
