Will sony active shutter 3d glasses work for this projector?
It looks like both this projector and sony glasses are 120Hz but I am not sure.
Do you need anything else apart from this projector, 3d blu-ray player, 3d blu-ray, HDMI1.4 cable, and 3d glasses to see 3d movies? Like some adapters or dongles?
You can still buy it from Amazon for $649.99
It is back ordered but you can lock in the price.
Good idea to backorder it. Amazon is usually good at shipping quickly, and if they don't they may give out a nice gift card for your waiting. That said: the fleshtones on this projector just aren't very realistic. The W1070 or the HD25 by Optoma are a bit better. So if using in a nice home theater enviornment think about it. Here http://thecreativealternative.com...projector/ they compare the Optoma and the BenQ, and give some basic information about projectors in general which helped me understand some of the newer "terms". When I had bought my old Optoma HD65 I had no idea what the testing for contrast ratio was or how it really compared with others who had claimed significantly higher numbers. Now I just need to convince my wife we need an upgrade... tried to get her to see the "screen-door" effect but to no avail...
