Are offering price match.

However, I prefer this unit that is only 40 bucks http://dealsprime.com/ugoos-um1-a...ni-pc.html because it has hardware XBMC support.

Dealsprime = Gadgetsgreat = Chinagrabber = Fraud / scam site.
I've posted about them before.
I'm quite aware of them and they're bad news, but if you are feeling lucky - go for it.

They have a link on that page that lets you notify them for a pricematch.
I'd be curious if they would drop from $87.99 to $59.99 to match Geekbuying's price.
That's a pretty big drop. Keep us posted.

hey guys, what would you recommend for the cheapest android stick that has a micro usb and hdmi outputs on it? (micro hdmi would be better but its not important since I can just use a hdmi to micro hdmi converter i think). I'm asking cuz i have my lapdock 500 sitting around and i heard it can work with a android stick, but i want to get a cheaper one (cheaper the better as long as its not useless heh)

thanks for any advice!

The cheapest that you will usually find on a regular basis is the MK808 around $40 or the MK808B which is the version that also has Bluetooth (for a few bucks more).
These are good, solid, all-around sticks......but they have had their share of people saying that the WiFi can be spotty for them.

If you're like me when it comes to tech toys, I would buy one and see how it is for the price.

If I like it, I keep it.
If I don't like it, I sell it and I'm done and onto the next gadget.
If I like it, but want something a bit more powerful, I sell it and then invest in something that's a good deal on a higher-end version.

Which is what this MK908 would be, a better deal on a higher-end version.

I already ordered the UT1 from DealsPrime, so I won't be getting one of these smaller units, I've shopped with DP loads of times and it's a great service they offer. Those bad reports are just made up by a bitter competitor, everyone knows that.

I think you've simply been luckier than most if you have and if that's why, then all good......but......

Their competitors are the busiest people around, if that is the case.
I invite you (or anyone) to Google Chinagrabber, Dealsprime, or Gadgetgreats and take a look for yourself.

No one has that much time to write that many negative comments on that many different sites.
These do not exactly look like, "Chinglish" writers to me: Chinagrabber - ResellerRatings [resellerratings.com] Blink

But, we're getting off track.
If Dealsprime will knock their price down from $87.99 to match Geekbuying at $59.99, then people are free to make their own judgments and go for it.

Why would I buy this over the CX-919 deal you posted last month here

Just a warning, I am actually posting this from my Tronsmart MK908 and needless to say there are still some quirks. The devs at freaktab are just now starting to really make headway into fixing several of the issues that the device ships with (poor video playback, crashing, bad wifi, overheating). That is not a slight to the devs either, just a testament to how poor the quality control on both the hardware and software on these chinese sticks are.

Please do not get this device expecting it to be production quality out of the gate. You will be beta testing it until all the quirks are worked out. Luckily several devs are making custom roms and kernels, so it is only a matter of time before everything is smooth a silk.

Well, it's a few bucks lower than the CX-919 for one.

But the main reason people will probably go for this over that model is that the MK908 has flawless XBMC support now.
Lots of folks are sort of rabid about the whole XBMC thing and that feature alone would be worth the $60 to them.

Looking at the most recent posts and also the information regarding recent factory firmware updates, MK908's that are now shipping have those issues ironed out.
If you check the product page, they are shipping units that have just been produced and include the latest updates.
How long ago did you purchase yours?
