Can you get squaretrade? I thought it didn't apply to refurbished
I had the same understanding...

I don't know if you could add this to the purchase to extend it to 3 years: http://www.buydig.com/shop/produc...b=descript

No, it was an i5.

The i7 was $699 with a larger SSD but non-touch.
sorry my bad... I was mistaken with the $699 deal is the one that was i7

Isn't odd that there have been so many 100's of refurb UX31A's sold recently? I thought it was a fairly new model, eg., not out long enough to have many refurbs..?

Got $12 as well.. not sure where the 3x promo is coming from, if so it is stealth since it didn't show up on the listing for me.

Needed to call customer service, cancel yesterday's order and bought via ebay.
Took less than 3 minutes and saved me $130 (plus a few ebay bucks).

I thought it was a good deal yesterday, today's deal is just swee!.

Thanks OP!!!!

Refurb could be someone buying a laptop, opening it up, and deciding to return it.

Or it could be someone really messing with the laptop and finding issues and returning it.

You just never know what constitutes a refurb. I'm shocked there are so many refurbs, but I know a lot of people here along have bought tons of laptops and returned them due to a better deal or something else came along.

You take a risk with a refurb, but the cheaper cost may be worth it.

You get 3X the eBay bucks if your account is in good standing (no unpaid items, etc). I see only $12 in my account because i have an unpaid item mark on my account haha. Not that i was going to buy this anyways...
