Deal Details

Wayfair has the Powerblock Elite 90 (5-90lb) [wayfair.com] adjustable dumbbell set on sale for $546.47 w/ free shipping (no sales tax except Massachusetts, New York, Utah & Kentucky). This alone isn't a particularly great sales price, considering that MSRP is $557.00, however every place I've searched has NO FREE SHIPPING, thus bumping the cost to $646.00.

There is also a 10% off Wayfair coupon you can apply to this order dropping the price down to $491.82. To get the coupon, go to wayfair.com [wayfair.com] and after the main page loads, a window should pop up asking you to input your email address to receive the 10% off coupon. If you don't get the pop-up window, clear you browser cache and try again. You may have to input the address manually versus using the link in this post. Wayfair also occasionally sends 15% - 20% off coupons in your email, so if you're a previous Wayfair customer check your email.

To sweeten the deal, Wayfair also offers 3% rewards, plus whatever cash back/rewards you get from your credit card.

For a review check out the Powerblock Elite 90's Amazon product page [amazon.com] for comparison.

If for some reason you don't want powerblocks, you can get the Bowflex 1090s [wayfair.com] using the 10% coupon for $488.83 w/ free shipping. Personally, while I own a set of Bowflex 552s and love them, I would pay the extra for the Powerblocks which can be upgraded to 130lbs, whereas the Bowflex are capped at 90lbs. Plus the powerblocks have a 10 year warranty vs 2 years.

Have rarely ever seen deals on poewrblocks, and as you mentioned, this is only slightly luke-warm at best, but its better than nothing. I've used the bowflex 552's, i currently own the bowflex 1090l's and i love them both. I have been trying to get the powerblocks/ironmasters in the past since the locking design of the blowflex is made of plastic and i do not feel safe about that.

Oh well, this was about a year ago and i settled on the blowflex 1090 since i couldnt find any powerblocks for a decent price. Thanks for the post, repped.

I got some a bunch cheaper a few years back. Way better than bowflex IMHO due to being much more compact at a given weight.

I would love a set of powerblocks, just I would be pissed if I accidentally dropped them.

If you prefer not having to worry about your weights, Ironmasters will be for you.

Yeaaah no thanks. Tax would kill the deal in NY. I would rather go find a 40 pound log out in the woods and lift that rather then spend $600 on this.

I own a pair of the original Pro Rexan 5-90 set. They're probably 15 years old at this point. Absolutely worth the money. Some of the best home equipment I've ever bought. Repped.
